I needed help with self-esteem issues and heard about John from a friend. I started going to him last year to help me understand why I was feeling so bad about my breakup. In a very short period of time, he helped me to understand why my mood was so bad and how the collapse of my relationship struck a blow to my self-concept. John "gets" men's issues. He's compassionate and caring but also direct. He's an excellent therapist and as a person who lives in Lakeview, I can tell you finding the right one isn't easy. I am a drag queen and have been shopping here for years. But, this afternoon, 7 of my drag queen friends and I were shopping for wigs when they KICKED US OUT!!!! They told us that the store was for women and that we were not welcome there because we made the other real women in the store (all two of them) uncomfortable. I am appalled at their blatant discrimination against the LGBT community and I urge you to not shop at (boycott) a business that practices illegal discrimination like this.
