Eddie drove 60 miles through a thunderstorm to pick me up off the side of the tollway. He then went above and beyond and dropped me off at home before taking my car to the shop. Even better, he Didn't for a moment make me feel uncomfortable or in danger. As a single woman, it's unfortunate to expect that I will encounter that from a late night tow operator. But not Eddie! He is a wonderful person who really saved my night, weekend, year! On a night when AAA could find a tow for me, Grand Towing was there. If I could give zero stars I would! The insurance company called them in order to tow my scooter at 2pm. They said they should be here before 3:10. At 3, I received a call stating that they would be 15 minutes late. I waited until 3:45, and tried to contact them to see where they were, and nobody answered. The insurance company called them, and they were told the driver was en route. Finally, at 4:45, I gave up waiting! They never called to explain why they weren't here, and they never showed up. Why would they offer a service that they have no intention of providing? Why lie about coming to provide roadside assistance? The worst part??? After looking to write a review, I discovered that THEY ARE LOCATED 3 BLOCKS FROM WHERE I WAS STRANDED!!!! AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!! ...read more
