I am the founder of a local foundation that raises money for childhood cancer research. We depend on the generosity of our community residents and local businesses. It's a difficult endeavor, and we are often told "no." However, we are told no by kind, gracious, decent business owners, managers, etc. \r\n\r\nSteve could not be bothered to look up from behind his computer. I assume he heard me talking to the kind, older lady at the counter as he was sitting in his office 7 feet away. I tried to say hi and he cut me off, dismissing me in the rudest possible way.\r\n\r\nThe character of this man speaks volumes. I have just remodeled one of four bathrooms.
