The Ortiz Brothers

I think your company is the best I have ever seen and used. So professional and accurate. This company puts the rest to shame. I can always count on the job being done right even if I am not home. You guys make my house look good. And I thank you. To me you are 10 stars. I also get many asking me who does my work and I always say do you want cheap or right? Then I tell them call Ortiz Brothers. Thanks again for always being there for me. Mrs. Pam Locke ...read more

Mothers Day flower care
Did someone you know receive flowers this past Mothers Day? Perhaps a different occasion? How long will they last? Permit me to make a care suggestion to prolong the flowers life. Most floral arrangements should have 7-14 days before dying out. However, many times they only last 3-6 days. Why? Because the foam block inside the container the flowers are in has dried out. Eack block of floral foam inside the container has been soaked with water so the stems can live off that water similar to a vase of water. However, that foam will begin dehydrating 2-3 days after purchase and dry out leaving the stems no water to "drink" from. If you think of the floral arrangement as a plant and simply add a little water each 2-3 days, you will be resoaking the floral block and replenish the water supply for much further enjoyment. Flowers don't last forever, but wouldn't it be nice if they lasted longer? Hope this helps, John Gul at Fresh and Silk Flowers ...read more
