I have gone to this place many times. After my last two visits I will never go back. Took 30 minutes to get a side salad and another 30 minutes to get the food.. If you like paying 14 dollars per plate then having pasta come out cold and hard in a pool of olive oil.. Then this is your place...We even got to talk to the owner and he said he did beleive us.. Even talked down about the local newspaper. How said because I have seen many stories that include his business name.. ...read more

Owners Kurt and Pandora have not only captured the ambiance and taste of an excellent dining experience....the food is supurb and the atmosphere relaxing and unique....but they add an additional desirable element, they welcome their customers as friends. I Miss my Gramma Bunny's Lefse that helped bring on my holidays as a kid. I'm Marion, I'm a 35 year old mom, baker, and "foodie extraordinaire"! Ha! ...At least I used to be... before I also had to use the term celiac to describe me. Poo! It was during the pregnancy of 4th child, Killian, that I was diagnosed gluten intolerant. With my adoration of all things delectable and increasingly unstable pregger hormones, I felt like I'd just been slapped with some life sentence for a crime I didn't commit! I remember standing in a local grocery store bawling at 8 months along because all I wanted in all the world was a brownie! That Year's Christmas time was an epiphany for me and for what I wanted to do with my life. My mom was delivered her yearly Pita Cake (pitta piata, an Italian honey Christmas pastry) From my Aunt and I couldn't have one coveted bite, #@*?!! Something had to change! It was my Norwegian Gramma and my Italian Nana that inspired my Gluten free bakery. I don't want to make GF white bread and pie crust... I want Pitta Piata, and french crepes, and Lefse!! I don't want to stop there though. I want Mexican sweet bread, baklava, naan!! And maybe, maybe someday, I will figure out how to make my mom's pineapple upside-down cake, gluten-free, but tasting the same as hers! So far I've done pretty well. Its like chemistry in my kitchen on a daily basis. And, lucky for me, I have 6 very honest children to tell me how far I'm off on my creations from the originals. My goal is to bring everyone who is living a gluten-free lifestyle all of those iconic holiday treats, cultural specialties, and "gramma used to make" confections we all love and miss so much! ...read more
