My Husband and I have been searching for a home for a few months now. I have sent emails to many manufactured home lots around Idaho and Oregon. I have received replies from many but never heard a reply from Advanced Home/Champion Homes/ Factory Home outlet. There is a pretty good firewall at the school I work at so I figured this was why I had no response. I received a phone call from James who works at Advanced homes accusing me of being a high school student and wasting his time. He threatened to call the cops on me if I didn't stop inquiring about homes. When I called him back to let him know that I was an interested home buyer but would no longer be interested in buying a home from him due to his rude voice mail he hung up on me. My husband tried to call him back to explain that we were real home buyers and James then told him if we called again he would turn us into the police for harassment. The customer service we received is by far the worst I have ever encountered and we will be taking our business elsewhere. No, it's not well managed and managers are rarely available. Good luck trying to find who the owners are and how to get hold of them about problems that aren't taken care of in the park and consistent abuse to residents by management. The park is on a 4 lane road which is busy and dangerous - not quiet. The "family area" is in the middle of the double circle of trailers, not accesible by cars or road, fenced in and only accessible from the yards of the inside circle of trailers that surround it. Good luck getting permission from the unfriendly neighbors to access the "family area." Oh, and there are no sidewalks and no street parking with very narrow roads.
