LawnTech

1.0

By MrOzMan

I have been a customer of LawnTech for quite some time, spent a lot of money with them and I would advise people to look elsewhere. I give people a few chances, and gave LawnTech far too many chances. 1. They did a terrible job at lawn patch work (after failing to have us settle the soil before putting in the hydroseed), which I forgave them for. They have called me three separate times to tell me they will be coming out the next day to fertilize. (No shows on every occasion!). Their sales guy Justin scheduled me to come and put in flower beds. Again, a no show! I called Justin and he said they got some higher paying jobs coming in and had to move me (without even calling me). I thought it was just Justin's incompetence, so I called LawnTech and asked to speak with the owner. I left a detailed message, and he never called me back. Then I get a call from a guy named Kerry, who said they were coming out to fertilize tomorrow. I STILL accepted, but they never came! ...read more

Idaho Falls Hobo Spider Control

Eliminating Hobo Spiders With Star Pest Control Hobo spiders have earned quite the reputation as a common pest in Idaho Falls, yet most people are still uncertain about their exact nature. Are they harmless recluses or aggressive invaders? The answer isn’t so black and white. Like most spiders, the hobo spider is cautious and tends to avoid humans, preferring the outdoors. People most often encounter hobo spiders in their homes during autumn, which is typically when people require Idaho Falls hobo spider control. This is because autumn is their peak time for mating, and they’re also searching for a warm winter home. The hobo spiders that people encounter during this time are the ones that have survived the summer, so they’re typically larger and more aggressive, which can increase the chances of receiving a bite. Still, hobo spiders do not attack humans unless put in extreme situations, like being forced up against the skin or intentionally provoked. Many people may be bitten by a hobo spider without realizing it at first, but over time the bitten area can become painful, inflamed, and muscle twitching can occur. To treat a spider bite yourself, you should immediately do the following: -Clean the area where you have been bitten with mild soap and water. -Cool the area with a cold rag or ice pack to reduce pain and swelling. -If the bite occurred on an arm or leg, keep these areas elevated. After doing this, you should seek a doctor, and if possible, bring the spider in for a more accurate diagnosis. While there is still much debate about the toxicity level of the hobo spider bite, the CDC does not consider it to be particularly dangerous, and experts no longer believe their bite can lead to necrosis. That said, the hobo spider is venomous, and does pose a possible threat. Getting quality hobo spider control in Idaho Falls with Star Pest Control will help prevent hobo spider bites. Hobo spiders are found in Europe, Central Asia, the United States, and Canada. Idaho Falls hobo spider control is often needed, because rural areas and fields are the hobo spider’s ideal habitat. When indoors, they typically hide in or alongside walls, and seek shelter in messy areas like clothing piles or scattered books and toys. Attics, basements, and sheds are ideal places for them to live. Ways you can avoid hobo spider bites are to remove excess rubbish in and around your home, and wear protective clothing such as long sleeve shirts, boots, and gloves when working in places where hobo spiders commonly live. Also, one should be able to identify the hobo spider. Watch for: -Brown furry bodies with yellow markings on their abdomens. -Solid, light-brown colored legs that are somewhat hairy. -Long palpi (arm-like appendages) on each side of their head, with bulbous ends that look almost like boxing gloves. Staving off hobo spiders is no easy task, but Star Pest Control is your best resource for Idaho Falls hobo spider control. Leave the creepy and difficult work to us. Our technicians will control and eliminate hobo spiders in your home and yard. We take care of all residential and commercial properties, and guarantee successful hobo spider control. ...read more
