I got stuck in a snow storm and stopped at the Stage Stop. I had a great meal, watched some TV while waiting out the storm and was treated very well by the restaurant staff. I was lucky to have such a great place to wait out the snowstorm. ...read more

On a recent trip through Idaho I had the pleasure of stopping at the Boise Stage Stop. The restaurant is fascinating and is filled with many historical items from the area (even some old stage coaches!). The food was fantastic - I had a delicious and cheap plate of french toast, while my companion tried the homemade chili. Everything was great and the server was friendly and fast! After eating, a little peak into the convenience store blew my mind! It is packed with all the essentials you would expect (snacks, soda, coffee), but also had some extras like the new deli and tons of gift items (like some cute purses and jewelry).
