Collins Community Credit Union has been my financial partner for over 10 years. When I bought my home in 2001, they helped me get financing and Sandra Whitters. was super helpful, she even made sure the realtor that was selling the house did not take advantage of me as he tried to! Ruth Pederson in Loan processing is awful, rude, and arrogant. She didn't not follow the contract or logic for the sale and incurred charges that never should have happened. She then threatened us for payment. She was rude and unprofessional. We will never work with Collins ever for anything because of Ruth Pederson and I advise others stay away as well. It's more important to have excellent customer service than to get the lowest rate, since you'll have to continue dealing with the institution after the deal is complete. ...read more
