Absolute Billiard Services
By thedunns June 25, 2012
We recently had Absolute Billard Service refelt a table that we inherited and had not been well cared for. Brett and his team disassembled and cleaned the table, secured all the fittings, aligned the slate, inspected and refelted the bumpers, leveled the table, waxed the seams, and installed the felt. Their attention to detail, knowledge, and professionalism was exceptional and the table looks fantastic! Brett is a perfectionist. He has been in the business for over 12 years and it shows. If that weren't enough, they were an absolute pleasure to have working in our home. They eagerly answered any questions we had and provided us a with specific knowledge about our table and general knowledge about care and maintentance that we were not aware of. I would recommend Absolute without hesitation to anyone in need billard services. ...read more

I talked to several authors who published with her that are truly sorry they did. I know I am. ...read more

As an author who got trapped into dishing out tons of money to this company and not getting the service I paid for, I can honestly say that was truly a learning experience. They are very quick to take your money and take advantage of new and aspiring authors. They took my money. I never heard back from the editor. then I was told that the editor quit and someone else was working on my book. Then that took months. I contacted them and was told by the owner that I had changed my email address and they didn't have the new one. That was their excuse for months of delay. Another lie. Then when I got it back, I hated it! The editing sucked. Then she apologized and stated that she was hire-ring another editor because the one that quit was "Horrible." in her own words. It was a total nightmare. Then she promised some stuff free and later reneged on her promises. When I confronted her about the POOR service, she basically told me I can go to hell. This sister is all about the money. ...read more

You Are A Published Author... Now What?
You are a published author… now what? You have written your book and now it is time to market, promote and sell. When your book first came out, you sold quite a few copies to your family, friends, co-workers, a few on Amazon, and did some local book signings… But now the sales have decreased and you want to hire a publicist who can get you more exposure, help you sell more books, and maybe even get you some speaking gigs. As a self-publisher you are responsible for everything and your budget is kind of tight and there is no way you can pay someone at this time, but you have a great book and no matter what you do the sales are not coming in! As a traditionally published author, you are also responsible for selling books. Your publisher may have not given you an extensive marketing budget, so it is up to you to market and promote your book! No one can sell your book like you. Publishing a book is half the battle, getting your book into the hands of your readers can be the difficult part. According to Rieva Lesonsky, "there's a good reason why social media is the hottest buzzword on every business owner's lips these days. For smart small business owners, using social media correctly is a great way to build your business-without investing anything but your time and effort. That's good news at a time when we're all trying to tighten our belts and increase our sales." As authors it is crucial to our business to have a social media strategy to connect to our readers. ...read more
