I would give this place a zero rating if allowed...\t\nI bought a Groupon for a Formastar body wrap and the second I walked through the door, was told of their "special offer" for monthly membership. Salaries are obviously commission-based and I should have known right then this was a bad idea, but I really wanted to have an easier way to become healthy than going to the gym. I was told I would need numerous sessions to see results and this is why a membership is offered. Also to see real results, I needed to buy a special lotion for $11 a sample or $105 !!! for the bottle. I really wanted to give this a go in order to detoxify my body, lose weight and get healthier, so I bought the bottle. After I joined and was asked at my 3rd appointment if I had noticed any difference, I was told I needed to be drinking 1/2 my body weight in water a day. Sure wish I knew when I joined I would need to drink 80 ounces of water a day! At the time of my 5th appointment, I was told I must walk 30 minutes after each session in order to release the toxins from my body and that not doing so can actually make me feel sick!! The young woman working there told me she began having horrible headaches because she wasn't working out after her treatments. Go to the main website for Solar Dimensions and closely read the info for Formastar. It says "most" people see results after so many sessions and words like "can" are used as well but no definitive information is given. No mention of drinking 1/2 your body weight in water or working-out. I believe the good reviews this place receives is from employees and/or their friends. \t\nI should mention the first ingredient in their special Formastar lotion is water and the second is "Hydrolyzed Casein." On my first visit when I was buying the bottle of lotion, I asked the woman who said she has worked for Solar Dimensions for 11 years what "Casein" is. I was simply told "I don't know." No further explanations was given or an offer to find out what it is. I have since searched and at least it is a protein but the "hydrolyzed" part sounds like it is mainly water as well. \t\nAs for the membership, the company had me sign a contract and I was told I would get 20% off the monthly membership if I joined that day. When the contract was printed and I went to sign, I saw $179 typed in the monthly fee line which was incorrect - wasn't 20% off. The girl told me she would have a manager fix the error later. Since they used Groupon as a way to advertise and draw me into their business in order to "up-sell," I figured they surely wouldn't cheat me, so I signed even though the price on the contract was incorrect. I took their word that the manager would fix the error. When I saw my credit card was charged the following month for the full amount, I called and was told the girl had been incorrect and that I would be held to the contract price of $179. WOW!! Needless to say I will not be using this place ever again for ANY service. If you decide to use Solar Dimensions, please think twice about signing a contract. Also, the employees like to talk about how much weight THEY have lost using Formastar and what great results THEY are having. Pay attention to YOUR results and don't be brain washed into thinking your cellulite is disappearing and that you are losing weight or having less back pain, etc. Any results customers do see are no dought because they are drinking half their body weight in water a day and working out 2-3 times per week. \t\nI have done something I have never done before and contacted my credit card company to dispute the contract and the claims this company makes concerning the Formastar wraps. The staff is very friendly and they remember peoples names. It is clean and well taken care of. The beds are new and they make sure to change bulbs when needed. They will work with you and don't make you feel pushed away. I think it is a great salon. ...read more

I chose Sunsational Tanning over "others" in the area because of the way the OWNER spoke to me on the phone the very FIRST time I called. \t\nShe was attentive, friendly, caring and real. The first time my husband AND I went into Sunsational, we were welcomed by the OWNER and one other staff member. After one week he and I both had a nice base tan. \t\n\t\nThe beds are private & CLEAN, the BULBS always operate & tan, there's always a PARKING spot (an entire lot there) and I think that we all should SUPPORT LOCAL businesses. \t\n\t\nEspecially when the local businesses deserve it.
