I have used Peachtree Service Experts for many years. I've paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars to them just for the maintenance agreement for 6 or 7 years. I thought the service was decent and relatively fair in the beginning. Then the price continued to go up while the frequency of visits and level of service declined drastically. When it is time for a repair they are like a shark smelling blood in the water. Will they fix your problem? Yes. Will they charge you 50% to 75% or more than other local companies for the same repair and try to convince you that you have impending and inevitable other expensive repairs that need to be addressed immediately? Absolutely. I've let them hit grand slams off of me for 2 or 3 repairs on my a/c over the years. I just trusted them and paid the charges and hoped for the best. We purchased a new AC unit (compressor and coil) on 7/14/08. The installation was great (the only reason for 2 stars). The paperwork that was to follow is non-existant. My husband and myself have called over 6+ times (salesman and president) with promises and still no estimate, no warranty. Since we paid $5.5k+ our warranty is for 10 years. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to rate a business, but I had such a terrible experience, I thought it best to share. I called Peachtree Service Experts during a stretch of 90 degree weather when my air conditioning stopped working. I called after scheduling appointments with competitors for 2-4 days out hoping they could help me sooner. I was able to make an appointment for the next day. I got a message later that my appointment had been cancelled because I wasn't a "priority customer". I will never be a customer of Peachtree Service Experts and hope you don't become one either. Peachtree Service Experts doesn't honor their commitments unless they consider you a "priority customer". ...read more
