Hands down, the most helpful and customer centered Publix I have ever visited. Incredibly clean and organized, you will never find one item out of place or out of stock. The employees are are constantly either organizing, cleaning, or offering to help you. I don't go anywhere else because this Publix does it 100% the right way. ...read more

Seven Gables Restaurant , Bar & catering

1.0

If I could give a minus to this "restaurant" I would. Group of 10 on Saturday night - only one other couple in entire place. Should have given us a clue. The decor is so horribly outdated & dark that it is depressing. The owner/chef took our order & he was rude from the beginning w/questions & answering them like we were straight out of dog patch. Two surly waitresses brought out food, never asking if we wanted refills or anything else. I had a side of sauteed spinach that was literally dripping with olive oil. Two women did not eat their meal as it was, to them, inedible. All through the meal everyone discussed how bad this place was in terms of service & the quality of the food for the price. At the end there was a disagreement on splitting the check & remarks made by the owner that led to a shouting match. Our 2 person check was $88 w/o alcoholic drinks - and certainly no tea refills. Longhorn filet & lobster w/dessert & appetizers would have been cheaper w/predictable quality. ...read more

Tipping is wage

We have been experiencing some short tipping in the part of some guests. We have been in business in Conyers for 22 years. We have noticed a change in our customer base. Some our newer guests tip less that 10% and some others 5%!!! what's up with that? Our service staff is used to 20 to 25% tips because they cater to our guests not just transport food and beverage to the tables. How do we tell these new guest influx that the wait staff make a living doing what they do and compensating them for their work is not just a favor. That is 90% of their wages. They must report a minimum of 8% of their sales as tips so anything less means that this guest costs the waiter. So this waiter rather not serve this guest .How do we inform these guests without offending them or alienating them? ...read more
