I work next door to this Kroger at the Aveda Institute, so I go here for lunch almost everyday, and it never gets old! The sushi is made fresh, and there is a good selection. The Teryaki bowls are delicious too and very filling (they look small, but the portions are really big, I promise!) I personally like the sushi here better than across the street at Ru Sans! Their hot bar is very good, and OMG- The deli sandwiches are amazing! They are CHEAP too! a 6 inch from here is easily as filling as a footlong from Subway. I like this store, people who work there are nice and the location is great. However, if you need a passport picture, get it somewhere else. The background sheet is too short and there is not enough space and light to take the proper picture. I needed to have 2 passport pictures for my naturalization. The first picture came out blurry, the photo guy ( very friendly guy) advised me to change my top. That didn't help. After multiple attempts the final picture still came out wrong and did not fit the passport picture requirements; the background was gray, the picture blurry and the face was much larger than the standard 25-35mm. The photo couldn't do anything to improve the image. So 3 vainless visits to CVS and unreimbursed $10 I had to go to UPS store where I got a perfect picture in 5 minutes. In any other circumstances I wouldn't even worry about small things like that, but anyone, who knows how long it takes the government to process papers for naturalization, will understand my frustration. However, today marks new feelings of hostility towards the one in in Emory Village when I bought a package of stale cracker jacks it came to a total of 1.01. When the manger gave me 99 cents back in change I said: really, you can't give me a dollar? She barked: I'm sorry?! Ok. Technically she is the right to give my change back as exactly 99 freaking cents, but she was so nasty - her nostrils flared ('m not joking). Kroger has something great with their new Fresh Fare grocery store. The fresh fare is right beside Gold's Gym, so I walked in the other day to pick up something for dinner.
