MD Walker Funeral Home

1.0

By chevmiller

As A Pastor, I have worked with a number of Funeral Homes. I have never been so disappointed in the professionalism of a Funeral Home as I am with M.D. Walker. I would not recommend their services in any capacity. There are better choices and I would encourage any person to try another establishment. MD Walker didn't have professional consideration for the family and it is clear that they are chasing the "dollar" instead of providing top of the line service. They lacked basic supplies: business cards, tissue boxes, envelopes. Their follow-up was poor. Weeks after the home going service, the family was still waiting to get basic information from them. If anyone in my congregation were to ask for a recommendation, MD Walker would not be any where on my list. I wish them well. However, I certainly would not be sending business their way. ...read more

The Progression of Junk and When to Get Rid of It

Many Americans own many homes outside of their primary residence, including a winter home, a vacation home, a cabin, a motor home, a houseboat, a yacht, a sail boat, a motorboat, a tent, a camper…. All of which are extensions of home and add to the progression of junk, clutter and stuff. There is no wonder why moving and relocation is such a dreaded task. All of that stuff is fine and dandy until you have to move it. Remember that accumulation gets worse if every little thing in every nook and cranny has sentimental value. The common rule of knowing when to dispose items is: If you have not used it or worn it in the past year, you probably don't need it. Even if you think you do need it, could it be that you have too much stuff? Conceding to that is easy, but embracing the work involved in sorting and packing up some of it from closets, attic, garage and self-storage to put on a sale is a lot to do. One suggestion, which does not include having an exhausting garage sale, moving sale, estate sale or yard sale is to call Junque Ladies Free Estate Property Disposal – Estate Sales, a community charity event. When they finish removing unwanted items or leftovers, you will feel relieved. Everybody feels better when clutter is removed. Before you call the Junque Ladies, make sure what you want to get rid of. Unless the items, whether clothes or furniture, are without soil, tears and breakage, they will not pick it up. Like many free pickup services, they salvage items for recycle and sale in lieu of payment. So things that should go in the trash have no value to anyone. These are hard working senior ladies, but they cannot "fix things." They donate over half of your unwanted clothing and household items, that they packup and pickup, to individuals and families in need. For example, when a family has lost everything in a fire, and they had relatively nice things, it would be hurtful to offer them something that no one else wants. It's just common sense. The Junque Ladies have recognized a need in the community and are doing their best to meet it. They do not have a thrift store so are limited in what they can accept. However, they can make arrangements to dispose of good bedroom suites, living room furniture and working appliances. After a family member dies, there is usually a mountain of estate property leftovers such as books, clothes, hats, purses, dishes and kitchenware, home accessories, etc., which is costly to move and store—anywhere. Eventually, all of our dwellings will be downsized and estate property will be disposed. If you are looking for a good cause to help that is focused on Giving and not profits, call or email Junque Ladies Free Estate Property Disposal – Estate Sales. They specialize in removing unwanted items and free home junk removal in southwest metro Atlanta. 770-347-7902  junqueladiespropertydisposal@gmail.com  Blogger Resource:http://www.collegeparkwebcity.com ...read more
