We hired Florida Party Booth for my daughter's sweet sixteen last week and it was awesome! Not only did my daughter and her friends have a blast taking pictures, most parents were getting in there too. The attendants were fabulous and extremely patient with the teenagers. How to clean a portable toilet
Although there are several ways to clean porta potties, here at Porta Potty Togo, we have found this is the best way to clean a porta potty: 1. Get your equipment and supplies ready The first thing to do is to be prepared with all your equipment and supplies. This includes reeling the water house out, getting your cleaning brush. Also the suction hose needs to be extended and ready to pump out. Additionally, all the cleaning chemicals need to be handy. 2. Spray Down the interior of the Porta Potty Once all the equipment and supplies have been prepared, the next step is to grab the fresh water hose and spray down the whole portable toilet. This will get all the dust and particles rinsed down and the porta potty will be ready to get brushed and cleaned. 3. Suction all the waste from the dispose tank While all water takes action to rinse all the porta potty, the waste inside the tank gets suctioned with the suction hose from the pump truck. After all waste has been suctioned, the inside of the tank needs to get sprayed. Furthermore, this will ensure that all that waste residue gets off the walls of the waste tank. Suction the water sprayed in the tank so it is left cleaned and almost dry. Thus this will result in a clean and sanitized tank. 4. Spray Down with Cleaner or Sanitizer After being done with suctioning all the waste from the tank, the next step is to spray down all the inside of the portable toilet. While this process is being done, it is recommended to start getting a 5 gal bucket filled with fresh water to save time and be more efficient. Some of the products that can be used are made by Walex, Surco, JJ Chem, etc. 5. Fill up the waste tank Next step is to fill up the waste tank. The amount of water depends on weather conditions of each area. The tank is filled with 5 to 8 gallons and drop in the dry toss packets or portion control chemical. 6. Brush down walls and tank With a hand brush scrub all surfaces of the porta potty. Again, make sure to clean the main areas that get in contact with urine or waste. Clean the outside and inside of the urinal, the walls of the tank and the toilet seat as well as the floor of the portable toilet. 7. Rinse down the Portable Toilet The cleaner and deodorizer needs to be sprayed down as well as rinsed thoroughly. If a water hose with pressure is available use it to remove any chemical or contamination left on the porta potty. 8. Dry and Remove excess water Together with removing all the water from the walls and surfaces of the porta potty, wipe any dirt or contamination with a squeegie or a high absorbent towel. 9. Replace Toilet Paper and Add Fragance Remove the old toilet paper rolls as well as replace them with new ones. Equally important, add air fresheners and equally boost fragrance with odor control sprays. 10. Clean exterior and pickup equipment The last step is to clean the exterior of the porta potty by rinsing it and wiping it with a towel.
