DO NOT TRUST YOUR MONEY OR LAWN TO TURFMASTER in Sarasota! Turfmaster Lawn Services in Sarasota is not only ineffective in their services but they're greedy and mean spirited. I wouldn’t have given them even one star. I hired them to nurse my lawn back to health on a 6-treatment contract. After 5 months the first two treatments which were supposed to be especially robust, my lawn showed little to no results. During the 5 months I called them and had them come see the lack of results. Only excuses from them. Not wanting to waist any more time or money on them, I called and advised I was canceling the contract due to lack of results. I told them I am not buying treatments, I am paying for results. They refused to cancel my contract and kept bullying me into paying for more treatments. Call after call to the office to speak with the manager named Connie resulted in not one callback to me. I advised them through message after message that our dispute had to be discussed with a manager. The final bill was only $60 but I felt strongly about not paying them any more for no value in return. This week I get a notice in the mail from a collection agency. They turned my $60 final service into a $264 collection! Talk about adding injury to insult! Weed and Feed time
Fall is here and a cool is in the air, that means its time to start weed control. Here in Florida weed control can be quite tricky, with the heat. Most of the herbicides (weed control) that are available come with a warning not to use when the ground temperature is above 85 degrees. As the temperature drops outside so does the soil temp, so here very soon you should be able to apply your weed and feeds without worry of burning your lawn. Too many times have I seen a lawn in the middle of summer dead from an application of weed control. Just please remember apply it at the proper rate we don't want to kill everything and we don't want to have the grass growing wild in the cooler weather. So rejoice my friend, the wait is now over, now is the time to kill those weds that have been taunting you all summer. Go my friends and kill those weeds and do it with a smile on your face.
