.Vogt Power to Supply HRSGs for Thailand RefineryBabcock Power, Inc. - 03.02.2010 Vogt Power International Inc., located in Louisville, KY, a subsidiary of Babcock Power Inc., based in Danvers, MA, announced today it has been selected to supply Jurong Engineering Limited (JEL) with six Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) for the IRPC Public Company Limited's ("IRPC") Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Plant located in Rayong, Thailand. IRPC is a petroleum refinery and petrochemical manufacturer belonging to the PTT group. Vogt Power will design, manufacture and deliver Six (6) unfired, one pressure level HRSGs to JEL. Vogt Power's HRSGs will be installed behind General Electric's Frame 6 gas turbines. The electricity and steam generated by the CHP plant will be utilized at IRPC's petrochemical complex. The CHP plant is expected to provide 220 megawatts of generation capacity and 400 tons per hour of steam for the complex, and is scheduled for completion in May of 2011. "Securing this award exemplifies Vogt Power's flexibility and competitiveness in the international and industrial market for smaller HRSGs," said Steve Kapsalis, President and CEO of Vogt Power.
