In my personal opinion, this is one of the worst fertizilation services around the Sarasota area. Basically, over the period of about 1 year, they took my lawn and schrubs from looking pretty good to malnourished and full of weeds and bugs. When I complained, the Sarasota Manager basically blew it off. When I fired them, they are so disorganized that they still keep coming out for 2 months after that. When they then billed me for 3 months of service, I called to dispute the bill. It quickly turned into a redneck debate full of excuses, lies, and attempts to actually turn the whole problem around of me. Then, if you can believe it, they actually sent me to collections. If you don't want to deal with an experience like this, then I would recommend that you stay away from Sarasota Plant-It Earth ...read more

They showed up today in the middle of a rain storm, parked their vehicle across the street acted like they were doing something in my neighbors lawn(which they were not) came across the street to my house, put a bill for services in my door and left. How can they think that I would not know? I have cameras all over my property and it shows them walking over and doing nothing. These people need to be arrested for blatant fraud. My question is,how may of you have been stolen from by being wrongfully charged for doing nothing? I spoke to Joe who said he was the branch manager and the will be takin' care of. I took care of it by firing them on the spot. If you are being charged for services and there are no services done call the sheriff's department and ask for the fraud division like I have and file a complaint. ...read more

I have a new home and new grass. They came out and within 3 months my grass was dead from the weed killer solution. Ashley even said he used to high of a rate. They did re-sod an area that was dirt only after all the grass died and that sod was free from Esterline because Plant It Earth does the owners yard for free. Re-soding means watering every day for 4 weeks which raised my water bill. I guess after reading all the negative reviews I am lucky they re-sodded even if the sod was full of weeds and brown. They no longer are allowed on my property and I am spreading the word all over Lakeland and Plant City. Dishonest companies eventually fail. ...read more

Wallers is one of the few businesses in Plant City that still employ english speaking Americans. Most other businesses are being sold off and the owners are leaving the town as more and more illegal aliens and their anchor babies creep out of the fields and hidden migrant camps and take over the city. I am afraid Wallers will also be gone in the next decade. ...read more

I called to cancel because they kept over billing my account. I called on 5/12 to cancel and requested email confirmation- the genius office manager emailed that 'my account will be charged $50 from now on.' I called back and stated that wasn't what I asked and I wanted my account cancelled- the correct email was received. A month later, I was billed again! It took over a week to be credited. High school education at its best. ...read more

Reading some of these reviews I am floored by all the negativitity. Pratically everyone in my new development uses Plant It Earth and we all have green and healthy lawns...people that don't use them have brown lawns. I used Service Pro (now Tru Green) and that was a waste of money as the lawn was never green with their "spray". Im not saying they are a perfect company but what companies are? There could be other underlying issues that you are not thinking of such as screwed up irrigation, not watering when you are supposed too, watering too often, etc. Its just amazing that the areas you live in people have totally different experiences. ...read more

I totally agree with the other postings. If you want your lawn destroyed, this is the company. My newly landscaped lawn is destroyed thanks to this company. They have more excuses as to why it was not PIE's fault. Do not use this company. ...read more

We put in a new lawn the first of March 2009. We hired Plant it Earth because of their claimed ability to control crab grass. May 9, 2009 we left for the summer confident our lawn would be taken care of. Two weeks later we received a call and pictures of our yard . At that time there was a large area on one side of the house and a smaller area on theother side of the house that was infested with cinch bugs. We immediately called Plant it Earth and then began a series of calls to them as our yard deteriorated during the summer. First they were going to replace it then not, then they were, then not,. By the time we got back to Fla in October the whole front of our yard needed resodded. Our attempts to resolve this with them fell on deaf ears They would not return calls and they did not live up to their statements on their website, nor did they guarantee their work as stated, nor did they communicate with us. This has gone on for a total of 5 months. Stay away. ...read more

I Disagree. I HAVE USED BOTH WALLERS AND CHOO-CHOO LAWN EQUIP. WALLERS OFTEN TRIES TO GET PERSONAL INFO FROM CUSTOMERS TO BUILD A DATA-BASE ON THEM TOO. YOU ARE RIGHT IN NEVER GIVING OUT PERSONAL INFO TO RETAIL PLACES, ITS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. EITHER JUST REFUSE TO GIVE IT TO THEM OR GIVE THEM FAKE INFO. I CAN'T BELIEVE CHOO-CHOO REFUSED YOUR BUSINESS FOR NOT GIVING IT TO THEM ON A CASH SALE. MIGHT BE GROUNDS FOR A LAWSUIT !!! ...read more

Choo Choo Refused to sell me 2 small nuts for my chainsaw bar today for cash because I wouldn't give the counterman my name, address and phone # so he could put me in their computer. I refused to divulge the info and they refused to sell the 2 nuts to me. I went to their competition in plant city ( WALLERS ) and purchased the 2 nuts for under $2.00 BEWARE OF ANY BUSINESS THAT ASKS YOU FOR PERSONAL INFO ON CASH SALES, IT'S NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. STEER CLEAR OF CHOO CHOO !!! Wallers Doesn't invade on your privacy like choo choo does. ...read more

We used this company when our house was first built. The manager quoted us a price but the office girl refused to honor it and got nasty with us. I just came home from 2 days away and saw their stake in my yard and all the other yards in the development. I never gave permission. Must be trying to keep other solicitors away. that's low when your product can't enhance your business and you have to resort to such tactics ...read more
