I intend to write a more detailed letter to your Apria Corporate Office, report this to the Better Business Bureau and send articles to the newspaper, if I don't get any action from you to resolve these problems. I unexpectedly found myself, after 9 months of dealing with Apria, in such a perplexing "mess". I was told that my insurance company would cover the cost of the cpap machine except for $45 per month, which means $405.00 that I owe, ONLY. But Apria just informed me that I owe in the $1,000's and turned my account over to collections without informing me, thus hurting my credit score. This is very unjust. Things were delayed, because you sent my claim to United Health Care- America instead of United Health Care - Golden Rule - my correct one. Then I was told that Golden Rule did not cover the humidifier part of the cpap at all. This is totally wrong. When I called to get explaination, I was hung up on. Now I am getting harassing phone calls 2-3 times per day from Apria! ...read more
