I first went to see Christina because I knew my hormones were not balanced and she practiced near my home. I asked her specifically to check my estrogen. I paid my $300.00 to have the hormone panel done and to my surprise....she checked all my hormones except the ones I went to her for....AND put me on hormone cream anyway. How do you know what mixture to give if you do not check those hormones? I was desperate and took the cream and developed a rash that would not heal no matter what I did. Christina brushed it off with a shrug of the shoulders basically! Then came time for the next hormone panel to pay for and when I asked if she was going to give me a break on the price since I paid for something I did not receive...she refused and became very argumentative! ATTRIBUTES HAIR 1 ANNIVERSARY CUT-A-THON All proceeds will go to “Just Against Children Drowning” On September 1, 2010 Attribute’s Hair Studio opened their doors in with free haircuts all day long. A few weeks prior to opening, Janine Brooks (owner/stylist) volunteered for the “back to school bash” held at South Biscayne Baptist church giving free haircuts to children. A short time after opening Janine also volunteered to do haircuts for a homeless coalition that was held at Edgewater church in . During this time Attribute’s had a donation box at the entrance of the salon collecting toiletries and food for the homeless at Christmas which were hand delivered by Janine Brooks, Husband Mike Brooks, family and friends to the tent city “pirates cove” in Venice, Fl. Obviously, Mike and Janine Brooks believe in giving back to the community as well as providing excellent service to their clientele. As a thank you to the community for all of the support as well as “just doing the next right thing” Attribute’s has chosen to celebrate every anniversary of the salon with a fundraiser. This will be thier first year anniversary and they have chosen to support “JUST AGAINST CHILDREN DROWNING” (JACD) which stands for Joshua and Christian DeMello 14mo old twins that drowned in a pool less than 2 yrs ago in , Fl. Paul DeMello the father of the twins decided to turn something negative into something positive and start a foundation that can educate parents and families on water safety as well as making sure that all children can swim. JACD offers free swim lessons to facebook friends. Attribute’s will be offering $10 men cuts $20 women cuts on September 1 from 9am-6pm. No appointments accepted, first come first serve basis. JACD will be serving refreshments under the tent. They ask that you bring a children’s floating device to donate to JACD. All proceeds will go to JACD.
