I went to Melanie bc of her curly hair credentials. She colored my hair with her organic hair dye... it is very flat and ashy in color, very dull. She cut my hair using a curly hair technique. The cut wasn't horrible, but she gave me "soft round layers" that left the front of my hair much shorter than I wanted and drastically longer in the back. I ended up having another stylist fix the back of my hair. She told me I styled my hair wrong and tried to "teach" me how to style my curly hair. I left looking like a poofed frizz ball. She has curly hair of her own that is dull, flat, lifeless waves. For the results I got compared to the price... 100% not worth it! I have since found a Ouidad certified stylist here in naples. Cheaper ($110 vs $230) and she did a much better job! Don't waste your time or money on Melanie!!! ...read more
