our daughter first started gymboree at the pincrest location at 6months old and stayed there for 2.5 years. the first year there was great, babies that start there really start advancing motor skills, art, music, etc right away. the real downhill part started the 2nd year. by then most of the kids in the classes did not go through the beginning process, so u find a lot of kids really behind in alot of areas. our daughter started to learn to hit, not to share, teachers did the students art work, higher music classes were a big drop off in quality than the earlier levels.school skills drop off class was the straw that broke the camels back. this class supposed to introduce and encourage basic skills like socializing, sharing, taking turns, following directions,etc. but instead we found it was difficult to find compatible kids in the class (once again many of the kids were well behind in many areas for their age). there were numerous our daughter was hit and scratched by other kids and teachers kept letting those bad kids into the classes. the teachers were encouraged to sit kids down and repeat a lettter A on a paper like 50 times (if i wanted a parrot, i'd go buy one at a pet shop). the teachers were mostly kids (high turn over rate) that didn't have much experience teaching or running the business.this was a horrible experience and one can find better education for the price at comparable companies. ...read more

My daughter and I love love gymkidz. We are so happy we found this place. My daughter, 5 , is like a new person. The coaches are great. Very professional, helpful. We did trial classes at 2 other gyms in aventura and north Miami and my daughter liked this the best and so did I. The place is clean, the atmosphere is great. The coaches are amazing!!!\t\nShe enjoys it so much that after the first 10 week sign up we now are doing twice a week and in the fall if more later classes open we are planning on adding another day. \t\nI am shocked reading the other review, this gym is so nice and coaches are great I cannot believe it.
