Wow..I wasn't even there and for that matter Ms. Shirley..I lasted over 18 years.as a registered nurse. AND you do WHAT? for a living? ..I sure did. How dare you take attacks on me..over a manicure. If I was there..I surely would have given you your $5 dollars back. In fact, come over I'll hand it to you personally. For shame..life is so short and there are some really loose cannons out there that need to be hospitalized..my goodness for shame. Come on in..I'll give you your $5 dollars back. These are students! Where is your compassion for goodness sakes! You never wrote me an email either..so, I'm not sure what you are fabricating because I certainly didn't get it. But, please..it's so traumatic for you..please come get your $5.00 back. ...read more

How to Challenge the FL Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Exam
If you have reached this blog posting, you are more than likely wanting to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, also referred to as a CNA. Why Choose Florida Training Academy for your Nursing Assistant training class in Jacksonville, FL? Florida Training Academy has provided Fast-Track CNA Exam Prep classes since 2008. We are located in the beautiful city of Jacksonville, FL. In addition, we are owned and operated by a registered nurse with nearly 20 years of experience. Come see the difference that an enthusiastic nurse educator makes! For more information, schedules and registration, visit ourwebsiteor call (904) 551-0918. Did you know that you are not required to attend school in order to become a CNA in the state of Florida? If you know the skills, you can simply challenge the state examination. I have provided some pertinent information below. Again you can find more information by visiting our website at www.FLtraining.com. Candidates, both first-time and re-certifying, must pass the CNA Examination which is a 2 part examination, consisting of a written and a performance (skills) section. The Written Test is a 90 minute test with sixty (60) multiple-choice questions written in English. An "Audio" test in English or Spanish may be requested for the Written Test if you have difficulty reading or understanding English. If English is your second language or if you have difficulty reading English, please request the English or Spanish audio test when you submit your application. During the clinical (skills) portion of the test, you will be assigned to perform 3 of skills in addition to proper handwashing and the donning and removal of gloves. During your skill performance, you will observed and critiqued by two (2) nurse evaluators. Successful completion of each skill is required in order for you to pass. Unfortunately, if you miss one required step, you may fail the clinical examination. If you do not pass the examination, you will have to wait 30 days and repay before being allowed to re-test. Our CNA Exam prep course is designed to help you pass the Florida CNA exam on your first attempt. We even provide access to our clinical videos for 90 days and discounted CPR/BLS classes for our CNA students. We want to help you succeed! ____________________________________________ Do I need a GED or high school diploma to take the course? No. If you are 18 years old or over you do not need a GED or high school Diploma. If you are under 18 years old then you will need a GED or High school Diploma to take the Florida CNA examination. ____________________________________________ How do I Register to Take the Florida Certified Nursing Assistant Examination?
