The gentleman who took care of me and my 5 year old daughter on December 1st was amazing. Moving has already been very stressful, and a complete nightmare with JEA. We are going from Windstream to Comcast. If you people want to complain, try paying $80 a month for slow internet that works sometimes from Windstream. This gentleman made me smile and laugh when I was at my breaking point, while giving us an excellent deal with the service we want. He gave us our equipment in a cute baggy and explained how to call once it was all hooked up. It took 5 minutes to hook it all up and 5 more with the cal until we had internet. DO NOT make the mistake of switching to Comcast Digital Voice if you live in Jacksonville. My service has been out for more than two weeks... no phone or Internet...they keep sending out technicians when the problem is not at my home, but in their system. To-date the situation has not been unresolved and their supervisors are clueless and unhelpful. I know AT&T isn't much better, but hopefully I can at least get a connection.... This experience has been a disaster. Thank god I have a mobile hotspot on my Verizon Droid, or the situation would have been much worse. PLEASE SOMEONE break the Con-cast monopoly...We need FIOS. ...read more
