I am greatly concerned over this pharmacy's disregard for their medication filling practice. I have used their mail out service since the beginning of this year. I visited their facility in their Hollywood, Florida location while vacationing there. I took the opportunity to have my prescription filled there. They said they would mail it out to me within that week, or that it would be ready and I could pick it up since I was going to be there anyway. It wasn't ready by the time I was to leave after they informed me it was ready and I drove from Ft. Lauderdale to pick up...I told them to mail it. It took an additional week. The 2nd time of my request it was very difficult to have them send out to me once more, they took their time and with an apology from the chief pharmacist it was sent out via FedEx free of shipping charges. This 3rd time I requested my refill approximately the 28th of Nov.I gave the woman who took the information down my new address and phone number. I asked her to please make sure she had my new address and phone number, ( I live out of state), she reassured me she did... I called to confirm the next day that my order was in place, they informed me that they had gotten a new refill from my doctor and that it would be shipped out the 1st week of December, this year.. (2013) I called the middle of that week, after being place on hold as usual, then disconnected multiple times, having to explain patiently why I was calling throughout that week trying to know of the whereabouts of my meds, they informed me if had sent it to the old address...and proceeded to blame me for not giving them the new address...but oddly enough they had my new phone number in my med file. My medication is not one where my life depends on it. But, if it could of cost me my life! I pay out of pocket for this prescription and like many seniors I have very limited financial recourses to do so. Three weeks have gone by and I have yet to receive my med.
