I have been visiting the McDonalds's on College Parkway for over 17 years! The staff is the best that I have seen in any McDonalds. Very professional group of employees and managers. Jazz, one of the managers, is an exceptional person who goes out of her way to smile and greet everyone. I don't know how she does it! The McDonald's brand of coffee is the best! I used to go to this Burger King all the time. Unfortunately for them and their rude staff, they have lost my business for good. I went through the drive-thru several weeks ago and had two almost empty drink cups in my drink holder. But anyways.... Unlike most other fast food places which have curteousy garbage bins along the drive-thru lane to allow people to dispose of trash and make room for the meal or the drink they are about to buy, this Burger King doesn't feel the need to lavish their customers with such a luxury. \t\n\t\nSo here I was at the window being handed my soda with nowhere to put it. I took one of my empty cups out of the cup holder and politely started to ask "Maam, would you be so kind as to...." and she cut me off right there and with a very rude tone said "WE DON'T TAKE YOUR TRASH. DASS NOT OUR JOB". So I said "Okay then. I only asked because there were no garbage cans in the lot". She just ignored me and handed me my change and started talking to the next customer on her headset. So I now have a drink with nowhere to put it. She then hands me my bag of food and I ask for a drink holder. She informs me that they only give drink holders to customers who buy more than one drink. At this point I just drove away and vowed never to return there. \t\n\t\nNow, I do somewhat agree that it wasn't her JOB to throw my cup away for me. However, she clearly could have done it as a curteousy, seeing that I had nowhere to put my drink. Then to add insult to injury, she refused to even give me a drink holder. This was the rudest drive-thru experience I've ever had. The people working at this Burger King are obviously miserable and clearly take it out on the customers.\t\n\t\nIn addition to that, the food was expectedly cold. That is expected from most fast food places though. My food could have been colder than my soda and it still wouldn't have been the worst part of my dining experience.
