Most parents at Bethlehem are from the Islands and they underestimate the importance of so many things that contribute to a child success. Preparing a child to have self confidence,self esteem and so much more are the things that are important for young children. They just shove acedemics from the start and ignore everything else.It's more important to have a young man/woman graduate high school well educated at 20 years old than to have him/her finish at 16 and not be prepared. Bethlehem may crush your child's future simply because they are ignorant to children proper development. The principal is a pastor and you would never believe the lies that comes from this lady. I know no one is perfect but you would think that she would set a real example for these children. Another thing that is sad is that they think they are in the islands, they don't realize that certain things are not acceptable in the states. They pinch and yell at the children and because of this my children were terribly afraid to come to school. Also, the school is ran by the same owners at the preschool who are not afraid to disrespect parents in front of other parents. I work too hard for my money to give it to people who have no respect for myself and my children. Do yourself a favor and send your children to a true Christian school where they truly know the Love of God and also have a true love for children! Our Town News Features the Work of Marc GagnonMarc Gagnon was featured in Our Town News located in Coral Springs regarding his art collages; specifically his American Revolution themes. Gagnon has done a number of photographic art collages depicting the lives of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. Some of the people he has created art pieces of are some of the following: Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Matthew Thornton, well known physician and signer from NH, and William Floyd. He plans on doing additional pieces on John Hancock, John Hart and many others. Currently Gagnon has some 218 pieces and is working on finishing a piece on WW IV. The article was published by Our Town News during the July 4th week. Gagnon plans on featuring Elina Sol on the cover in a upcoming edition. Elina Sol is one of Gagnon's few models he is currently working with. That a way to go to Sr. Joanne on this blogFrom Sister Joanne LaFontaineI just viewed Lisa Bloom who is an attorney and a writer as well as a commentator for MSNBC, blamed the victim pertaining to a story involving seventh graders mocking a 60 year old bus monitor. There is no doubt that the woman did not have the influence to correct a group of students. Obviously, these students are part of broken families and are not taught moral ethics.Lisa Bloom should rethink her career as a writer and a consultant. Blaming the victim is an old behavior. My friend John wrote this blog and I totally agree with it: Tonight I accompanied friends to the Perfect Game Sports Grill in Coral Springs to watch the Heat game. Although the The game was great, the service is the worst I have ever seen. It took some 35 minutes before anyone came over to us. Some of my friends asked for mugs which we had to ask three times for. We were never served napkins. My friend had to get off his chair and walk over to the bar to take a stack of bar napkins for the group. He actually took them himself. Additionally, the waitress, who was Vanessa, never brought utensils and they were asked for three times. We totally recommend that no one goes there. I travel from Maine to Florida and it is basically the worst place for service I have ever experienced. In addition, the waitress did not care.
