Bello Moi's recovery antioxidant masque is my official I-need-to-wake-up-NOW mask! I put it on in the morning when I need to refresh my skin and get ready for an early day. The cooling sensation feels great and wakes me up, and if I put just a little under my eyes, it zaps puffy undereyes. It hydrates without making my verrryyy combination skin oily and brightens up dull skin. Bonus: it smells refreshing. ...read more

I have been very unhappy with the salons I have gone to since moving from New Jersey last year until yesterday. I had an appointment with Sheila for cut, color and lowlights I haven't had such a great cut and color in 30 years!!! Sheila knew exactly how to correct my bad haircut as well as my overprocessed color. My daughter's wedding is in 2 weeks and I can't wait to show off my new look. Sheila even took pictures for me with my phone so I could show the stylist at the wedding how my hair should look. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants teir hair to look it's best! Thank you Revive and especially thank you Sheila! ...read more

Recent Increase in Plastic Surgery

Presented to you by LIV Plastic Surgery in Boca Raton In recent news, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons has shared data displaying a tremendous rise in the demand for plastic surgery. So many people these days are undergoing plastic surgery to not only look better but also feel better. The acceptance of plastic surgery is becoming more widespread; so is the scope of available procedures and the prospect of correctable problems. Gone are the days when people could hide or lie about having undergone plastic surgery; people are blogging, tweeting and facebooking about it. It is certain that plastic surgery procedures have increasingly become popular year after year. The trend indicates that most people these days are seeking to improve their looks. Here are some of the reasons why there is an increase in cosmetic surgery: Social Life Implications Over a third of Americans are considered to be obese, making weight related health concerns a large issue in the United States. Because of this increased health awareness, procedures associated with massive weight loss have significantly fueled the recent surge in plastic surgery. Procedures such as tummy tucks, breast lifts, thigh lifts and upper arm lifts grew at their fastest rate in 2014 following a similar trend in the growth of weight loss procedures. In some cases, people who experience massive weight loss are left with excessive amounts of sagging skin around the abdomen, in the breasts, thighs and under the arms. They find the excess skin uncomfortable, unattractive, psychologically burdening, and can be painful in some cases. More people are opting for plastic surgeries to reshape their bodies and trim the excess skin. The significant increase in the popularity of cosmetic surgeries suggests that people are investing in their appearances to improve their social lives. Everybody wants to look as good as they feel. Social media has increased awareness and is influencing people’s decision to enhance their appearances. With an improving economy and ever increasing interest to improve appearance, the interest in plastic surgery is likely to continue skyrocketing. Latest technologies and trends in the plastic surgery industry The plastic industry is changing, and new procedures are developed as the demands push for new trends and directions. Such technologies have made cosmetic surgery easier, safer, more satisfying and have reduced traditional myths and fears. Roughly 80 percent of all plastic surgery procedures performed in 2014 were minimally invasive and incorporated the latest technologies. With available material for research on trusted online sites and social media, people need to do their homework first and consult with a certified plastic surgeon before deciding on a plastic surgery procedure. According to experts, plastic surgery patients who are well informed are more likely to be satisfied with their results. complimentary consultation, contact us today! ...read more

Keep your Skin Healthy & Radiant with these Tips

Day in and day out, our skin is affected by various elements. Some are more harmful than others but physically avoiding them is almost impossible. The areas on or around the face are especially difficult to protect. Sun exposure, harsh winds, polluted air, genetics and age are all factors that contribute to your skin’s health and overall appearance. Below are a few tips on how to keep a smooth, glowing appearance. Stay Hydrated. Many of the fine lines and dull skin symptoms are caused by dehydration. The skin and the entire body overall – needs an adequate amount of water everyday. Try drinking atleast 4 – 7 cups of water a day. Apply sunscreen, daily.  Naturally, our skin absorbs the sun’s UV rays. It’s important to apply sun screen on a daily basis. Excessive sun exposure causes several types of damage including fine lines, deep wrinkles and a decrease in the skin’s immune function which can lead to dangerous skin cancers. Try finding a light moisturizer with broad spectrum coverage and atleast an spf of 30. Gentle cleansing Using facial soaps with strong chemicals or over cleansing your face, can strip away a lot of the healthy oils on your skin. Because the skin on the face is exposed more than the rest of the body, it is more sensitive. Before choosing a cleanser, you should consult with a skin care professional from LIV Plastic Surgery who can provide recommendations that will give you the long lasting results you are looking for. Do not wash or exfoliate the face more than recommended and remember to moisturize daily. Chemical Peels A chemical peel can help fight against the damage build up over long periods of time including wrinkles caused by sun damage or aging. The peel can also help minimize the appearance of scars or age spots. There are different types of chemical peels, each one depending on the individual’s skin type and their desired goals. Depending on the recommended type of peel, a person can receive a chemical peel treatment every 4 – 6 weeks. CO2 Laser Resurfacing For a person who already has significant damage, fractionated laser resurfacing treatments will safely remove the top layer of the skin. The procedure will eliminate all the damaged/dead skin cells while simultaneously removing scars, blemishes, clogged pores and reduces the appearance of deep wrinkles. After recovery, patients notice smoother, brighter skin. Because the results are long lasting, regular treatments are usually scheduled once every few years which helps patients save time on returning for follow ups. ...read more
