We are taught to be a part of our community by walking, engaging our neighbors, and looking out for one another. Here, at Altamonte Heights condominiums, if anything suspicious or worrisome is reported to the maintenance people on staff, it is a battle with them. I requested a wellness check on an upstairs neighbor and it turned into an outright screaming match with one of the maintenance men who got defensive that he had to get up on Sunday and do some work. I did not appreciate being treated that way. Or his personal opinions about me coming to the surface during a request for a wellness check! Then again, about five years here, and I've seen numerous security people get fired and some on serious criminal offenses. Make one wonder if there is a pattern? Hiring the worst of the worst for the residents who live here? It does not create a conducive environment to health, and happiness amongst the residents. ...read more
Timberlake Apartments

I have been living in Timberlake since May and have had an overall positive experience so far. Maintenance responds to requests in a timely manner. I can get pest control service any time I want. You can hear the neighbors from their house when you are outside but when you are in your apartment, very little neighbor noise makes it through the walls. My neighbors are all pleasant and friendly but also are pretty good at minding their own business. The grounds are maintained very nicely and there is lush greenery everywhere. There are three pools, which is nice because they are all very different so you can have a different experience at each one. The lake is nice and there are turtles that love to hang out by the deck when you have food. They are super cute and so are the ducks that live here. I feel safe in this neighborhood and will likely stay here until I buy a house. ...read more
