They are an old business which has a definite place and fills a need, which you can't get at Home Depot, Walmart or most other larger stores. I have two older vacuums which I would have to replace if I couldn't have thier service, parts, bags, etc. to keep them running, which is way less than buying a new model which will only last a few years. I also purchased a bag plus other thing $17 total which he said I could return if it wasn't opened which is a normal practice. I was thrown out of the place today. I went in for a replacement bag for my Eureka vacuum. I had all the model numbers needed. The owner wanted me to buy a GE bag saying it was the same. I expressed doubts since it didn't say fits Eureka of something similar and asked if it was returnable. He said yes if it wasn't opened. I worried about it and having to make a return trip. He said "Get out. Who needs you? It's a $4.95 vacuum bag. I have work to do." Mean, nasty, unpleasant. No reason to ever return. ...read more

They have a staff willing to take the time to talk with customers and discuss the pros and cons of various options. They are knowledgeable of their product. And will get you every possible rebate.
