I closed on an all cash deal through ServiceLink. The service was absolutely awful. Initially the closing agent received a pile of junk from the home office. It required multiple emails and phone calls to get the proper documents. However, the names and addressed on the deed were wrong. And after multiple requests they were STILL wrong. It is unbelievable that they cannot do a few pieces of paper correctly and copy a name and address accurately after multiple emails and phone calls when this is what they do for a business. Failure to refund earnest money of $2,500 on a property in Glenwood I signed a contract on a home located at 740 W Palm in Glenwood IL on 10/18/2011, and due to the home not being able to be approved by FHA due to the extreme mold in the property. I advertise was false stated that the property could go as an FHA loan, which the property was not able to go that route. I signed the first document on 1/30/2012 to have the earnest money released, however I didn't receive the refund yet. Therefore on 3/22/12 I signed another release of earnest funds. I have yet to receive my earnest money back, and my attorney has written several letters. And this property has been put back on the market.
