Red Rooster Creamery is saying "Goodbye"

After five years, we have decided to not renew our lease for economic reasons and will be closing our store as of December 14, 2008.  This decision has not come easily, but the economic reality of renewing our lease, coupled with the current recession made our decision the only one possible. We want to thank our loyal customers for their support through the five years and for sharing your family and friends with us.  Our goal was to produce the best tasting ice cream, provide excellent customer service and be an asset to our community.  We won 4 National Awards, received excellent local reviews, got rave reviews about our employees and their customer service, and we contributed close to $15,000 to the community through fundraisers and donations.  In the end, we accomplished our mission.  We sadly say goodbye as we try to figure out our next steps.  Red Rooster Creamery may be revived someday in the future in a different form or location, and we will notify our network of customers who signed up on our VIP list.  Thank you for a great five years! ...read more

Summer is here!

We have a few special events coming up, and the opportunity to get outside the shop and onto the streets, so to speak, as we get out into the community for some different events.  In July, you can see us in theHighlands Ranch 4th of July Parade.  The parade route begins on Highlands Ranch Parkway - just East of the Town Center, then South on Broadway and around the Safeway shopping center and Civic Green Park.  It is a great small town parade and we love to hear the crowds as our parade float passes by. We will be back in Civic Green Park at the Town Center onJuly 14th for the "KidSafe 4 Summer" fair.  There will be a variety of fun and informational booths and activities for the whole family, and we will be there selling our ice cream to help everyone cool off in the hot summer sun.  ...read more

I love Domino's Oven baked sandwiches. My regular location is on 222 N Story road in Irving TX and they have a lunch special for $5.00 before 2:00 which I love because is great deal:)Last Wednesday in 2817 Brown Trail in Bedford Texas location I did ask if they have the same special and the employee was rude (White male with mustache on his 50's)with his answer. He seemed frustrated with a customer on the phone. I completely understand specials may vary depending on many circumstances but I didn't feel like buy it if he didn't have that special. I said "never mind is just One dollar" and He responded with "shut up B***!" I feel he treated me like this because my heavy Mexican accent. I work as CSR and I know is hard but NEVER while wearing my uniform I would snap to insult a customer...and due this bad experience I will stop for a while getting anything from Domino's...is not the product but the people representing the company ...read more
