I stopped going to the movies years ago because I am too cheap. I forgot about this theater and found it again on one of those 100 degree days. They had quite a few selections of fairly recent releases. The kicker? $2.50 before 6pm. $3.50 after 6. So 2 people can go to the movies for $5. I don't get snacks usually, but the prices were better than I remember other theaters having 10 years ago. I've been 3 times in one month - it had been 7 years since my last theater trip. ...read more

Decent place to see second run flicks in Denver. You won't have to pay much to get in the door and the food is pretty darn cheap too. ...read more
Landmark Theatre Corp
By KevinDRinggenberg at Citysearch April 05, 2012
This is the Crown Jewel of Denver movie palaces....if you love cinema do NOT miss a trip to the Mayan. Located in the once hip & funky South Broadway neighborhood (it's now chic and chock full of sushi & fleece people) this is the rare movie joint where you can grab a beer or stiff cocktail while you enjoy top notch foreign and indy films from our friends at Landmark Theaters. It's a vintage place where you can feel the history of film in every pore which means you're not getting stadium seating on any of that fancy b.s. what you will get is great movies in a theater that still retains it's charms from the 30'2 & 40's. Trust me, I've been going here regularly since 2000 and I've seen over 150 movies there. Check it out. ...read more

This is a pretty convenient movie theater because they are centrally located. They play all the newest blockbusters and popcorn is still way overpriced. Very clean theater. ...read more

We drove over 30 minutes to go to this theatre with FREE tickets. These tickets did not have any exceptions (except for no new movies within first 2 weeks of release). No expiration. Upon arrival to movie theatre, they simply said they don't honor them (even though they were perfectly legitimate). Management simply decided to quit honoring them! This, my friends, is legally FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! I would NEVER give them business and will tell EVERYONE I KNOW they are out to rip you off!!!!! ...read more
Blockbuster Video
By Denver Reviewer at Citysearch November 14, 2009
I was improperly charged for a movie because the system said it was never returned. I knew I took back the very next day. I called the store and an employee investigated it for me. She found the movie in the store. She gave me a refund of the $30+ movie charge. She also gave me a credit for the movie rental. When I returned to the store for additional rentals the Store Manager Carlos rebuked my store credit. He argued with me in front of other customers stating that my movie was late by 15 days. He was very uncooperative so I left the store and I called him later to discuss it further. He was very unprofessional and said it was insulting to him to suggest that the store did not properly record my movie rental and its return. This store's management lacks essential training and basic competency of customer service. I will never return to this store due to the Store Manager Carlos. ...read more

I only see movies here now, and am so glad this place opened. i moved from austin, tx and frequented the Alamo Drafthouse Theaters there. You guys should take a cue from them and make your programing more interesting, and the food could use a little work too. Otherwise, the best place to see a flick in denver! ...read more
