Had a fire at my auto body shop in August of 2013 in the mechanical area of one of our spray booths. Called Abbotts fire and flood and they were out within the hour. I don't have to tell you how devastating this could be or could have been to our business. Abbott's fire and flood had their crew stayed around the clock to make sure we were able to isolate the fire area and help us get the shop open for business the next morning. Ultimately when you have unwanted furniture or simply a completely overstuffed storage area is probably time for you to consider getting rid of some of your unwanted items. Of course the first step that many undertake is that of a garage sale or yard sale, there seems to always be a plethora of unwanted items left over after a campaign like that. So what do you do with your unwanted appliances that are broken and nobody wants them, bed frames that are not being used and so forth? Just stop and take a look around your home, business, garage and I am certain there are numerous items that you have intended to get rid of, recycle or donate. You might think that the cheapest solution would be to use your own truck and haul everything off to the local landfill. Ultimately, there is one issue with this, the issue is that landfills and especially in the Denver Metro area have a “minimum yard charge”. This means that regardless of what you have to throw away, most Waste Management transfer stations have minimum yard charges that are going to be $115 and that would be for a full pickup truck. This does not include special items such as mattresses ($18.00 each), etc. There are cheaper solutions and cheaper landfills in the Denver Metro area such as the landfill in Sedalia which is almost 45 minutes away from Denver. So, when you take into account your time, the fuel for your truck and the cost of going to a landfill it comes out to usually be more than what it would cost to hire a junk removal company to common remove the junk for you and that’s it you’re finished! When you hire a Denver junk removal company you don’t have to worry about going to the landfill, possibly paying more for the load than what you expected or having to invest the time into doing it yourself. Ultimately a small pickup truck load with a couple of couches and mattresses will more than likely cost about $150-$200 to dispose of. That same load through Junkernots would only cost about $180 to dispose of and you’d be finished with it.
