Denver Public Schools Attacking Lead Threat

The Denver Public School System is teaming up with Denver Water to conduct comprehensive testing of water quality throughout the school district. Together they will collect and analyze more than 3,000 samples from 160 schools to determine what level of lead may be present in drinking water.

This program is a proactive approach to protecting the health of students and faculty within the DPS system, and a great reminder for the rest of us to be aware of the presence of lead in our homes and work spaces!
