I was at the house when they arrived and began the work. They informed me they didn't need me to stay until they were finished. I allowed them to run my credit card when I left because they were half way through the job and seemed to be doing the work we agreed upon. I discovered this was a big mistake because when I arrived home I found the job incomplete. Not only had they not trimmed the small limbs growing out of the stumps near the ground, they also left many limbs they had cut just hanging from the trees, including a large dead branch that was broken.\n\n \n\nKnowing they were closed on Sundays, I called Monday, June 24, 2013 to discuss the work that was performed and to let them know I was not satisfied with how the job turned out. ...read more

I had to leave a message for them. I waited a few days but they never returned my call so I called again and left another message. Finally, after the second message I received a phone call back from them. At that time they apologized for taking so long to return my call stating they had been busy with some fire mitigation due to the Black Forest fire. I told them I understood and we discussed the issues I had with the work they had performed. At that time they said they felt if they trimmed anymore limbs from my trees "it would make them ugly". I told them I wasn't necessarily asking them to trim any more of the limbs but I needed them to take care of the dead ones they cut and just left hanging and wanted them to trim around the bottom of the trees by the ground. During the phone conversation they agreed to send someone out to take a look and they would get back with them. Concerning the gator dust installed few month ago. It is grey in color and not a match of the beige that was installed on patio less than year ago. The installer insists it is a match and same color. We had our house radon mitigation done by Alpine Mitigation (Guntis), and are very happy with the results. Guntis did a great job all around, - and it was not a very straight forward project - we needed the radon pipe that went from the ground into the detached garage wall, then into the garage, from the garage into the attic above (where the fan was installed) and then through the roof. Guntis did a great and aestatically neat job, the pipe outside is very discreet, all seams around pipes are neat and well done. Just the perfect job all around and he did it in one day! This company cheats their employees and has for years, shorting their pay for warehouse time (they aren't not paid at all for it), not providing medical care when workers are injured on the job, and telling them, when a paycheck is shorted that they are being "paid for what they're worth". I was able to get an appointment 3 days after my call to the company. I was expecting to have to wait 1-2 weeks as is what usually happens this time of year. We had been using one other company for two years and I'm so glad we switched!\t\n\t\nWhen I asked Scott (the owner) the total for the work he did at my house today, I held my breath because with the last company my husband and I used it was always a blow to our wallet, then he told me the amount and I was very surprised. My husband is deployed to Afghanistan, his 4th tour. I was unaware of how to lay down sod... so I paid someone. WORST MISTAKE! A $600 mistake. MY GRASS IS DEAD! 4 days later!! When they showed up their rototill died so they did it with shovels... HA!!!! I have weeds growing THROUGH my DEAD grass! DO NOT TRUST THEM!
