Besides some cussing and spreading it out over a week, my husband finally installed the blinds. They have made a HUGE difference to the look of our home and I am so happy with our decision to buy these. It's literally night and day with day being highlighted. Our nine blinds make a major difference to the look in our home. They are sturdy and heavy duty. The fabric is thick and obviously made to last. I ordered by blinds three weeks ago over the internet. The website said it would take about a week less. I understand they are custom made but we should have been informed on the delay. We finally got the blinds and there were no instructions on how to hang them. After calling customer service and downloading the hanging instructions, we finally have them up. Had an order for $3700+ (2nd order placed). Steve even came out to remeasure for my shutters. Was not notified of the closing of the business. I was lucky that I charge from my credit card, so was able to dispute it and get my money back, but still I was paying interest on the balance. Also it was charged under "The Blind Installer" and not the company name. The amount charged was also more than the deposit was supposed to be. I filed with the Denver BBB and with the Police under the case number mentioned below and to have Sgt Conley notified. Hopefully this guy will do some time and give us our money back. ...read more
