I have been renting an apartment managed by Colorado Realty and I have been extremely satisfied. Love the fact that they have an online portal for paying rent and requesting maintenace. Not sure on the maintenance response time as I haven't had a need to request any maintenance, yet. Absolutely terrible experience. Constantly tried to bully us into signing a lease before even seeing the full unit. A/C and upstairs electricity didn't work when we looked at the unit. Carpets were stained. Asked for a cleaning and were told we were being "nitpicky." Expressed concern about the A/C and electricity, were told they would work. I asked for assurances in writing that they'd work, and they refused. I asked for a 30 day period after move-in to make sure everything worked, and were told by the manager that "isn't going to happen." I told her she was being rude, and she said "you're free to leave, then". I asked if this was how they'd be as landlords, and she told us "I'm rejecting your application. Get out." She actually kicked us out and rejected our application (after already approving it days earlier). They kept my application fee, of course. Don't deal with this company. You'll be sorry. ...read more
