The Mission Trail Waste center is not exactly the poshest place in town, yet every time I go there to drop off stuff, the team is friendly forthcoming and helpful. The intense mess and the big machines driving around create an atmosphere akin to Dante's Underworld, yet the people working there keep it cleaned up and are always friendly. Compare this to the condescending sales people at the fashion stores at the shopping malls in the area, who are so full of themselves that they barely talk to you and I'm hard pressed where I prefer to go on a Saturday afternoon.
