This salon is peopled by hacks who do not listen to their customers. I had a terrible experience there on October 26, 2008 with a stylist named Tommy. I would discourage anyone from getting their hair cut here. I am trying to grow my hair out after a catastrophic too-short cut. It has been growing slowly for about 3 months. I had the bangs trimmed once. I went to Regis, where I had only been once long ago, and said that I would like a very tiny trim to shorten the bangs and a little in the back. The stylist cut the bottom layer and I could see that she was cutting it too short. I told her so. She said I should "trust her." She cut the top layer and cut about 1/4 inch off. If your hair is only 2 inches to begin with, 1/4 inch is a LOT. When she started to make the cut, I made a face. She said, "you need to trust me." And being an idiot I didn't get out of the chair at that point, I let her finish. Sure enough, she cut about 1/4 inch off the top sides. I didn't need ANYTHING cut off the top since I am trying to grow it out! I had shown her a photo of me with long hair and told her that what was what I was going for. WELL, I came into Regis to get my hair redone.. but i didnt want the same stylist messing with my hair, or whats left with it.. So they ADVISED i go to DOYLE, and i asked if he was good with color because that was the problem. lol.. anyways He sat me down and had a long talk about my hair and what i wanted to see and he even told me that my hair was 2 different color and the cut that i got wasnt an A-line, he even said it was horrible, hehe so he sudgested to make my overall base 1 shade lighter, put some partial hi-lites and re-cut it to what its supposed to be in the first place.. SO I PUT MY COMPLETE TRUST ..and he even hid me from the mirror so i can be suprised.. lol... OMG OMG... IT WAS SO GENIOUS.. his amazing, not only he fixed the color, he enhanced it to frame my face with hi-lights and the cut was amazing.. i would have lost all hope if it wasnt for him... omg i cannot express this... so if ur trying to get a new look.. do not go to anyone else but DOYLE.. u can try..someone else if u want but if u want the best DOYLE.. is ur guy.. ill be seeing him... alot.. lol ...read more
