Custom Woodworking

Nothing upgrades the look and feel of your home like custom woodwork and decorative moldings.  The addition of custom moldings can add elegance to any project.  Whether it is crown molding, chair rail, or wainscoting, your home will gain architectural detail that will give a plain looking area a much needed boost in sophistication. This week we were working on custom woodwork in a beautiful home in Olivenhain.  Take a look at the before and after pictures of the wainscoting that was installed by Brent Fremmerlid of Storybook Castles.  If you want to see more, we have an entire portfolio dedicated to the custom woodwork we have completed in years past.  Check it out! ...read more

Great Blog/Newsletter

Here's one for the geek in all of us... One of our favorite newsletters is Fred Langa's bi-weekly "Langa List". Fred has been writing for Information Week for years, and started his newsletter mainly to share answers to reader's questions. Every issue he will handle 8-10 questions, giving his own answers and those of readers who have written in with their own solutions. He will also bring up any news of the week that he feels is relevent. The newsletter is totally free, cost is carried by 3-4 very short and unobtrusive text ads. For those who wish there is an extended "Plus" version that costs a wopping $12 per year- all of which goes to support needy kids whose stories Fred will occasionally share with readers. Fred also offers links from his website back to anyone who will "Load the Code" and display a small banner on their site. Most people who "Load the Code" also get a mention of their site in the newsletter, which has had some phenomenal effect on traffic. Well now Fred has a blog. And he's asking folks to "Flog the Blog", which will in turn get a mention in his blog. If this sounds interesting to you, visit http://www.langa.com/blog and take a look. Even if you don't think his site is compatible with yours, at least sign up- it's great reading and you'll find out about some sites you won't hear mentioned anywhere else. What's the worst that can happen- you might learn something?!!!
