I was so pleased with Proven Termite Solutions that I have already recommended them to several associates. I used them in the purchase of a new home to do a termite inspection and treatment. As a small business owner, it's been a pleasure to work with Proven Termite. They don't just talk customer service they provide it! A very rare commodity in todays world. The work was done as per schedule and the price also seemed reasonable. They gave 3 year warranty for the work done, so feel it is good quality work. Only time will tell about the work quality, but this is true for any company. ...read more

1.Is all gopher/pest control service treatment the same? No... Most pest control companies do not have the expertise for one specific pest. The technicians are trained to treat for general pest control (which means ants, roaches, rats, mites etc.) Companies that do have a technician that treat just for gophers will most likely use a common method known as baiting or trapping. This is what we callinsanity!!!Keep doing the same thing over and over expecting different results!Trappingis anold methodto make customers feel good that they are catching the gophers. The reality of the situation is thatgophersarecolonized animals. Meaning that there ismore than one! Also traps aredangerousforchildrenandpets! Traps are alsoa 50/50 chancein catching the animals. I know what they say... well I caught several of them in a trap and they went away.Did they come backthe following season? I bet you they did!! Traps do not get to the source of the problem which iseliminatingthe living quarters known asTHE TUNNEL SYSTEM!!!!! The second method is baiting.Hmmmm..... Let's think about this one for a minute..... Do you get it? They add aman-made food sourceto anatural environment!!!O'Helllooo.... Do they really think that gophers prefer supplements over a wide buffet of natural plants growing throughout the area? I guess they are trying to watch their figure as well!! I have one more for you... Pest control companies will place agummy wormin the hole. You're telling me after all these years of gophers and moles existing on the planet Earth that they can't tell the difference between areal wormand a fake one?This ain't fishing;real worms moveanddon't smell like plastic! Baiting is a lost cause!!You can't add aman made food sourcewhen the area that you are dealing with isloaded with natural food sourcesthat has been in the ground for some time and have beensafeand part of theanimals' regular food source. The truthto the matter is this; thetunneling system must go!Trapping and baiting will only give you a headache. Youmust close the tunnel system down.
