My back and stomach were hurting, so I went to an MD. The MD referred me to get an ultrasound, and it came back negative. The MD told me it was just muscle Pain, so he prescribed pain medication. I had the Pain for a year. I decided to go to a chiropractor. Dr. Le did an exam on my back and stomach area. He referred me to get an x-ray. The x-ray shows a small white circle on the right side of my stomach. Dr. Le told me the small white circle thing was a tiny kidney stone. This place is the best! It's very warm, homey and casual feeling. Every person I've dealt with there has been SO friendly and knowledgeable. The selection is outstanding! Dr. Nemirov has been the family doctor to my wife and I for nearly 2 decades. I'm one of those guys who doesn't go to the doctor unless he's sick, and in the 90's I was, and his work was fine. My most recent check up he started asking leading questions seemingly out of context to our discussion or how I was feeling - questions that would lead to his prescribing medication. My wife sees him much more frequently, and took his advice on medications, which we now believe were unnecessary. The most recent incident occurred over a VERY small past due bill. One of those hardball reactions that was over the top in the context of the amount, the age of the bill, and our long history with the doctor. Although Dr. Lin's ""bedside"" manner might not be the greatest, he did a great job with me. You can imagine how many patients he has so getting to the point is a time saver for him and for me. He originally thought I might have Schottky's ring in my esophagus but after the camera went down there, it was discovered that I had a palatial hernia which led to esophogeal ulcers. All that made it difficult to swallow food. Dr. Lin gave me a prescription of Protonix and within literally 2 days, it was much easier to swallow and I am very happy.
