I don't usually bother writing reviews, but this time round I thought it worth, because the other reviews are so unfair to the place and its stuff (and, honestly, those folks sound a bit unreasonable to me in their expectations). I've now been there several times over the past few months, and I've never been disappointed - sure, if you're looking for someplace romantic to celebrate your anniversary with your wife, well, let's face it, this is probably not the right place... However, if you need a discreet place to have a bit of... er, privacy with someone and don't fancy having to go to the trouble and expense of booking a motel room, I can hardly think of anywhere better in the area. The facts: for $32 you get for an hour private use of a room with a hot tub and sauna, plus a 'bed' (well, a mattress with a clean sheet - more than adequate for its purpose, which is clearly not a night's sleep, if you get my drift LoL). and shower. The place is really clean (if a bit seedy and dated in decor, but, hey, who cares) the staff is friendly, towels and sheet are clean (consistently so, despite what others are saying here) and it's a real bargain considered what you pay. To put things in perspective, I travel a lot on business, and usually stay in 4 or 5 * hotels, so I'm not like 'a low expectations' guy -- this ain't no 5* resort, but this is not what this is meant to be. ...read more

How can you not love a bowling alley that has a bar with ""elves / trolls"" on a mural in the bar? Sure, there are fancier bowling alleys but Cambrian Bowl keeps things REAL! Great service, great french fries! ...read more

cambrian bowl can be a fun place to go to. friday & saturday night they play music. why don't they play music on the other nights?\t\nI see some things never change.\t\nI have had some problems with the front desk day person. It seems she can do no wrong. If I had a empolyee with that additude, she would be fired.\t\n Is she relatived to some one who works there?\t\n Is it that hard to find someone to stand there & ring in customers, and be nice. It looks like we are interruping her sitting. and what ever you do, don't let your children go to her unattended. she is rude to them.\t\nthe other lady must be her mom, as she protects her when ever you have a negative question. It's like momma bear to the rescue. then when you walk away, feeling like Sh_t, you hear them laughing.
