Semper International

1.0

By BMOC

Semper International, LLC has to be by far one of the worst agency's in the city of San Francisco or in the top 10 of the worst. The never seem to have any jobs and yet they are still in business. They deal in the high volume copy center personnel staffing. Also Semper can't seem to hold on to their "agents" for very long at this office. They went from a 9 person office on Market Street to a one person office in a 10x10 room in the South Of Market area. There are far better agency's in San Francisco to find a copy center environment job. ...read more

She placed a candidate into my firm and then 3 months later, just after we paid her the $20,000 placement fee, she recruited the candidate to another firm and got paid again for that. She forces both the candidate and the hiring manager to hire the candidate, even though it may not be the right fit for either. Her candidates don't stay at the jobs she finds for them for too long. ...read more

I am not sure about the other Kforce locations but the one in Indianapolis, IN SUCKS! Andre Boulias (however you spell it) is a fake. He told me prior to me quitting my job that I have a job and told me my start date, that fell through the roof, and this happened on 3 occassions, I went without a job for 7 weeks ( a long time when you have bills). I finally got the job it was temp to hire, not once did he check up on me to see how everything was going and when I got hired on I trried to call them and tell him the good news and he never once called back and/or said congrats. ANDRE BOULAIS SUCKS AND HE DOESN'T DESERVE THIS JOB!!! ...read more

I was let go last April from a job I had been at for five years. I did get some temp work from another really good company that lasted about three weeks. Unfortunately, that temp job ended as planned. I started stressing about the potential unemployed situation. I then spoke to a person at Certified and went through the application/testing process. Lucky for me, they got me a temp gig that will last for a few weeks until my full-time job begins. ...read more

I was in the Radio Disney Fashion Show! They were promoting the Jonas Brothers Movie in 3D. This was the only stop for the Jonas Brothers Tour in the Bay Area. Barbizon Models were exclusively used, I was so excited to get to walk and fashion all the rock star looks! I got my hair and makeup done... it was awesome! All my friends saw me and were so jealous. I got so many great pictures I could use for my portfolio! I'm so glad that I got to do my first fashion show with all my friends at Barbizon! ...read more

If you are looking for an excellent career coach, go no further than Chad Thigpen at LHH. His personal career assessments and advise really energized me, and the effect is contagious. I was caught off guard with my layoff with old habits waiting to be re-used. Chad has helped me center and focus my objectives and goals, cutting through old habits and creating breakthrough results that has resulted in a better ability to build relationships with organizations and generate connections with my targeted companies effectively. ...read more

I originally thought what the 2 negative commentors stated. However, it is better for them to be tough on you and not fall on your face in an interview. I got my sales position through them and am looking again due to lay offs. This company is not a hole in the wall; there are alternate locations in multiple cities. Maybe you weren't as good of a candidate as you think you were.... My former manager only used her because he knew they would only put forth quality candidates (she doesn't waste managers' time.) Also, she has been around many years and has many connections, more than other recruiters I know. They get the job done and are revered in the industry. ...read more

The recruiters were great in helping me find temporary work. The one thing I didn't like was when they contacted my references, they spent more time trying to recruit them rather than discussing my qualifications. I would have given them a 3 star, however, if you ever have to deal with the Payroll department, good luck and be ready to contact the labor board. ...read more

These guys are pretty pathetic!\t\nThey recruit for Bank Of West, E-Luxury, Luis Vuitton & Sephora...& the posts are exactly the same!\t\nSame all, same all process - filling out numerous forms, waiting around, an out-dated pc skills test, more waiting around, lame interview with an even lamer consultant - all this, & they may or may not get back to you. Their non responsive attitude is not only aimed at jobseekers, but also at employers wanting posts filled!\t\nYou then receive random emails, for example: "Japanese Translators Required - Immediate Start". ...read more
