Pool Inspection San Diego - WARNING!! Home Inspectors NOT Qualified

This post is about our personal experience over the past few months and is not pointing out any one company. This is a simple explanation for a prospective home buyer purchasing a house with a swimming pool. We have received multiple phone calls recently and they have been from realtors or the home buyer asking if we can provide pricing for the things found by their home inspectors incomplete home pool inspection. We are always happy to help a customer in need but, we are not willing to do the work for a home inspector that can not properly inform the client of the average estimated costs for the work they found necessary.Home inspectors charge an additional fee to add a home pool inspection though, they do not provide the buyer with any value based on needing a report that quotes costs so the negotiation can take place.By having pricing for the work necessary found during the pool inspection the buyer and seller can discuss compensation or credits to move the sale of the home forward.Beware!!!This is a common practice of home inspectors and a bigger question is?Does the home inspector even have the experience to provide you with valuable information about the swimming pool in question?Always count on ProTouch Pool Services to provide the highest quality home pool inspection while providing additional orientation information to help understand the pools requirements. We offer both written pool inspections and verbal pool inspections based on your specific needs.Visit us on FacebookVisit us on Google +Visit us on Youtube ...read more

New Energy Efficient Pool Pump Installation Portfolio

Here is another portfolio of us installing a new energy efficient swimming pool pump in Clairemont, CA, 92111.In California, the Title 20 laws state that any pool pump larger than a 3/4 hp pump requires you to install a variable speed, energy efficient pump that meets the Title 20 law. If you are able to replace the existing pool pump motor, you can still do that and usually saves you significant money if you are not ready for the new pump or simply can afford it at the time. We always offer to come out to evaluate each specific pool pump to help the customer detemine their options. Also when it applies, we will recommend going with a 3/4 hp pump if your swimming pools needs match the pumps ability to circulate effectively. ...read more

Spring Mulching Special!

Save $25on each cubic yard of mulch or wood chips(one cubic yard = one full pickup truck bed) Regular price: $150 Spring Mulching Special price: $125!!!! (Price includes mulch or wood chips, delivery, and spreading)   A layer of mulch will help prevent the germination of many weed seeds, reducing the need for cultivation or the use of herbicides. Mulches also help moderate the soil temperature and retain moisture during dry weather, reducing the need for watering. Mulches protect the soil from the impact of raindrops that can cause crusting. Crusting can prevent the germination of seedlings. While there are many types of mulch, organic mulches such as wood chips, grass clippings, or other locally available materials help improve the soil by adding organic matter as they decompose. They also may encourage the growth of worms and other beneficial soil organisms that can help improve soil structure and the availability of nutrients for plants. Mulches also can be used to enhance the look of your garden. Many bark mulches provide uniformly rich brown color that contrasts with the plants. The mulch helps keep plants clean by reducing the splash of soil onto leaves during rainstorms, and helps infiltration of the rainfall into the garden. Call today to enhance your yard for the summer! 858 752 7507offer expires 5/31/10 ...read more

San Diego Swimming Pool Expansion Joint/Deco Seal

San Diego Swimming Pool Expansion JointYour expansion joint has multiple names such as deco seal and mastic. This is the thin rubbery material that separates the pool or spa coping from the rest of the deck.  It is there to allow for expansion and contraction when the temperatures in the ground cause the pool or spa to shift. The rubbery material has an average life expectancy of anywhere from 1 to 4 years though it can fail sooner if the pool or spa has shifted or settled in any way.  When there are areas of the expansion joint/deco seal/mastic that have failed, you are likely to get soil erosion from water runoff that can cause cracks to occur in the deck or the coping. Everything Swimming Pool Suppliesalways removes all of the old expansion joint material to ensure that we get the best possible adhesion to the deck and the coping.  If this is not cleaned and prepared properly you may experience premature failure of the expansion joint. We use the deco seal brand that comes in four basic colors consisting of tan, grey, black or white.  We will typically add a thin layer of sand to the top of the deco seal to give it a more natural look that blends into your deck and coping. If you are interested in having one of our trained technicians out to give you aFREE EVALUATIONandFREE ESTIMATE, give us a call todayat (858) 693-3307 or fill out ourContact Page.Restoration ServicesPool Tile CleaningPool Tile Repair / Coping RepairPlaster PolishingPlaster RepairPool Acid Wash / Stain RemovalExpansion JointPool RepairsPool Cleaning ServicesMore About UsHomeBBB MemberVideo TestimonialsService VideosContact Us San Diego Pool Restoration Home | San Diego Swimming Pool Tile Cleaning | San Diego Pool Tile Repair Coping Repair | San Diego Swimming Pool Plaster Polishing | San Diego Swimming Plaster Repair | San Diego Swimming Pool Acid Washing Stain Removal | San Diego Swimming Pool Expansion Joint Repair | San Diego Pool Repair | San Diego Swimming Pool Cleaning Services | San Diego Swimming Pool Company BBB | San Diego Swimming Pool Testimonials | San Diego Swimming Pool Videos | San Diego Swimming Pool Contact | SiteMap ...read more

San Diego Swimming Pool Acid Wash

San Diego Swimming Pool Acid Wash / Stain RemovalWhat does my pool need an acid wash or a stain removal procedure?   Depending on the nature of the staining (minerals, metals, or organics) and if the staining has multiple layers of build up, will determine if the pool or spa needs to have a pool acid wash or if you are in need of a stain removal process.Pool acid washing is for the removal of mild mineral, metal, and/or organic staining.  This process is performed with the swimming pool or spa drained and then there is a chemical solution applied to the plaster's surface.  It is then scrubbed and rinsed to ensure an even looking finish. When there is heavy staining or various stains on top of each other, we use a stain identification kit to help diagnosis the specific types of staining.  Once the stains have been determined, we can add all of the specific stain removing chemicals to the existing pool or spa water.  All of these chemicals are safe and will not cause harm to your family or pets. This process usually takes just a few days though tough and stubborn stains may take up to 2 weeks. This stain removal process is the safest, most effective way in removing unwanted staining and restoring the beauty to your pool or spa.We highly recommend using a licensed professional when doing an acid wash procedure.  If a pool acid wash is done improperly you can destroy the surface of the plaster immediately. If you are interested in having one of our trained technicians out to give you aFREE EVALUATIONandFREE ESTIMATE, give us a call todayat (858) 693-3307 or fill out ourContact Page.Restoration ServicesPool Tile CleaningPool Tile Repair / Coping RepairPlaster PolishingPlaster RepairPool Acid Wash / Stain RemovalExpansion JointPool RepairsPool Cleaning ServicesMore About UsHomeBBB MemberVideo TestimonialsService VideosContact Us San Diego Pool Restoration Home | San Diego Swimming Pool Tile Cleaning | San Diego Pool Tile Repair Coping Repair | San Diego Swimming Pool Plaster Polishing | San Diego Swimming Plaster Repair | San Diego Swimming Pool Acid Washing Stain Removal | San Diego Swimming Pool Expansion Joint Repair | San Diego Pool Repair | San Diego Swimming Pool Cleaning Services | San Diego Swimming Pool Company BBB | San Diego Swimming Pool Testimonials | San Diego Swimming Pool Videos | San Diego Swimming Pool Contact | SiteMap ...read more

San Diego Pool Plaster Repair

San Diego Pool Plaster RepairOver time, plaster will begin to fail causing problems such as rust spots from the rebar in the structure of the swimming pool or spa, plaster delaminating that looks like thin flaking on the plaster's surface, and/or structural cracks that can cause the pool or spa to lose water. These types of pool and spa repairs are common due to swimming pools and spas encountering water chemistry fluctuations that can cause premature damage to the plaster's surface, aging of the concrete and stone building materials, and with the natural settling of the pool or spa into the ground.  All of these situations are likely at some point in time but now you can save money and have the pool or spa ready to use the next day in most cases.Have one ofEverything Swimming Pool Suppliestrained technicians come out to make all of your necessary pool plaster repairs. If you are interested in having one of our trained technicians out to give you aFREE EVALUATIONandFREE ESTIMATE, give us a call todayat (858) 693-3307 or fill out ourContact Page.Restoration ServicesPool Tile CleaningPool Tile Repair / Coping RepairPlaster PolishingPlaster RepairPool Acid Wash / Stain RemovalExpansion JointPool RepairsPool Cleaning ServicesMore About UsHomeBBB MemberVideo TestimonialsService VideosContact Us San Diego Pool Restoration Home | San Diego Swimming Pool Tile Cleaning | San Diego Pool Tile Repair Coping Repair | San Diego Swimming Pool Plaster Polishing | San Diego Swimming Plaster Repair | San Diego Swimming Pool Acid Washing Stain Removal | San Diego Swimming Pool Expansion Joint Repair | San Diego Pool Repair | San Diego Swimming Pool Cleaning Services | San Diego Swimming Pool Company BBB | San Diego Swimming Pool Testimonials | San Diego Swimming Pool Videos | San Diego Swimming Pool Contact | SiteMap ...read more

San Diego Pool Plaster Polishing

San Diego Pool Plaster PolishingPlaster polishing is for those swimming pools that are rough to the touch and would not benefit from a pool acid washing procedure.Everything Swimming Pool Supplieshas developed a technique to restore the smoothness to the plaster's surface without causing damage to the cream coat of the plaster.  Most roughness is from a build up on the surface caused by incorrect water chemistries such as a high pH and/or calcium hardness in the water.  Over time this roughness will increase causing the pool surface to have a sand paper feeling that causes skin to be irritated and bathing suits to be damaged.  This can literally make the swimming pool unusable.  If your swimming pool or spa is having this problem give us a call today and one of our trained technicians can evaluate the severity of roughness and resolve these issues so you can once again enjoy your swimming pool or spa.If you are interested in having one of our trained technicians out to give you aFREE EVALUATIONandFREE ESTIMATE, give us a call todayat (858) 693-3307 or fill out ourContact Page.Restoration ServicesPool Tile CleaningPool Tile Repair / Coping RepairPlaster PolishingPlaster RepairPool Acid Wash / Stain RemovalExpansion JointPool RepairsPool Cleaning ServicesMore About UsHomeBBB MemberVideo TestimonialsService VideosContact Us San Diego Pool Restoration Home | San Diego Swimming Pool Tile Cleaning | San Diego Pool Tile Repair Coping Repair | San Diego Swimming Pool Plaster Polishing | San Diego Swimming Plaster Repair | San Diego Swimming Pool Acid Washing Stain Removal | San Diego Swimming Pool Expansion Joint Repair | San Diego Pool Repair | San Diego Swimming Pool Cleaning Services | San Diego Swimming Pool Company BBB | San Diego Swimming Pool Testimonials | San Diego Swimming Pool Videos | San Diego Swimming Pool Contact | SiteMap ...read more

Karma Relaxation Spa

By Sara1904sd

I went in for a couples massage with my friend for my birthday and had a male masseuse named Johnny. He felt the need to let me know how he felt about my tattoos on my arm and on my leg. He let me know before the massage that my arm sleeve was “too much” and then proceeded to tap on my arm and grunt at all the tattoos I had that he did not like. Even calling one “Halloween” after tapping and grunting at it. It was the most uncomfortablest situation I have ever been in. He was completely unprofessional voicing his opinions on my tattoos. ...read more

Spa Tech Parts & Service

Hello Steve, Elaine & Joel, Richard & I would like to thank you again for such quick & thorough service! We appreciated that you first tried to help us over the phone for a quick easy fix. When it became apparent the problem would require more attention you were right out in just a day. You ordered the part and Joel came right out the next week to replace the part. While making the repair he discovered we needed a new disconnect box and showed us the problem. We got the new box installed the next day which was Saturday. Your service became OUTSTANDING when you returned our call on Sunday, during the football playoffs! This was just 10 minutes after we left a message. We were amazed and delighted by your kind attention! We certainly made the right decision to go with your establishment! Thanks again, and if/when we need any help in the future, we’ll see you then! Sincerely, Richard & Ronda G. ...read more
