ALL CITY STICK DRIVING SCHOOL
By Gavigan Homes, Inc June 01, 2014
Online for our teenager was just fine. Trying to set up appointments for the actual driving lessons was like pulling teeth. Multiple no shows and not returning calls or emails. Finally got 2 driving lessons done. Maurice showed up at he door, said "let's go" then took off. No come in, sit down, talk about the plans, etc. The only way we could tell where they were was by GPS. Maurice never said where they would drive, what they would work on, etc. Doesn't instill a lot of confidence. Set dates for the 2nd and 3rd lessons, no show on the second then showed up after rescheduling. No show on the 3rd lesson and never returned emails. We finally just said forget it. ...read more

ALL CITY STICK DRIVING SCHOOL
By medicrq September 07, 2013
These guys also operate as A AAAfordable Driving School on 33rd St. We signed up with All City but had our teenager was given online lessons from A AAAfordable, strange.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!We paid for the entire online course AND the driving lessons. Our teenager finished his online course 30 days ago and he (Maurice) hasn't done a thing since. I reached him twice by phone and he promised to send the certificate of completion the next day, never did. He said he would email practice exams, never did. He has NEVER returned a phone call, an email or even a note left on the business door.Sign on door says mainly 9-5 but they were closed every time. Driving is a big thing for teenagers and this guy hasn't shown an ounce of caring. Our teenager spent THIRTY hours on lessons then has been waiting another thirty days to take his DMV exam. FOR NOTHING. Now he'll have to repeat everything. ...read more

ATC TRAFFIC SCHOOL
By cleopatra1976 July 12, 2012
WARNING! BEWARE! If I could give this school a negative rating I would! I DID attend this class because I had a coupon and it was CHEAP! I quickly learned you get what you pay for as the instructor, Bob Agerbeek was not only abnoxious and rude he was 30 minutes late. If I didn t need my court certificate that day I would have walked out. The guy is very demeaning and his sexual gestures and comments were COMPLETELY unprofessional and inappropriate. He kept stroking his mustache and licking his lips suggestively, he probably thinks he is funny but he comes across as a pervert. First of all, he says he is a former cop. Its been my experience with cops that they are just players wanting your phone number and they turn out to be users. Second, he was supposed to be teaching about traffic laws, instead I got his opinions on thongs, gays, and the military. I can only assume that because he is old and gross that he gets his kicks by making people stand up in class and ridiculing them. I heard that the location I went to was shut down, big surprise what took them so long, but later learned he has moved his offices to Clairemont and LaMesa. It was a disgusting 8 hours I had to endure and he wouldn t think to give anyone a refund. I drove by his other offices and they are dumps. As a woman, I would be afraid to go into these neighborhoods after dark. He really made me feel uncomfortable and gave me the creeps. My advice: AVOID THIS SCHOOL! Spend a little more money and go to a school that is on the approved court list and is reputable and decent. ...read more

Is Reiki for Spiritual Enlightenment or for physical healing?
The founder of Reiki Mikao Usui sensei himself thought of Reiki as a physical treatment technique. He also stated that Reiki can be helpful for psychological conditions, and considered Reiki to be a spiritual healing method. The original name for Reiki, the way Usui-sensei called it, was 心身改善臼井靈氣療法 (Shin Shin Kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho) or, in translation, “Usui Treatment Method for Body and Mind” (literally, “Mind-Body Improvement Usui Reiki Therapy”). The name itself says it all. I, personally, see Reiki as a mind-body-and-spirit wellness method, that helps maximize a person’s natural healing potential, and helps restore natural internal balance, be it physical, emotional, or spiritual. Current medical science does not have an explanation for how Reiki works, but in my experience, it can be helpful on all levels, and often in a profound way. Again, as a medical doctor, I have no explanation for this, but I am certain, it is not a placebo effect. As far as Reiki as the means to achieve enlightenment, I can certainly see that Reiki can be very helpful in that regard. When receiving Reiki, many people report having experiences of deep peace and clarity, similar to what one may attain in a state of a deep meditation, something that for most of us would take years of practice to accomplish. From my perspective, these types of Reiki experiences may speed up and help facilitate the process of getting closer to the enlightened state. This is also true for the practitioners of Reiki. Most, tend to shift towards a more enlightened way of being with the ongoing practice of this unique Japanese healing art. #Reiki #MindBody #Wellness #Healing #SpiritualTreatmentMethod #JapaneseHealingArt #MikaoUsui #UsuiSensei #ShinShinKaizenUsuiReikiRyoho #enlightenment ...read more

Mobile Phones Make Great Films!
You already know about the power you have in your hand through your smartphone. Your smartphone has replaced many items and made others accessible on the go. You can read your email and post to social media, take notes, etc. Your phone has replaced your voice recorder for memos, it has replaced tools such as the compas and your maps for navigating, including the gizmo which you had to switch from one car to the next to help you get around without getting lost. But there is on power that enables a basic human talent to go beyond our expectations. Storytelling. You can share your story through an email, a blog or even a text or social media writing a post. You can create music to express yourself or you can create podcasts. But one medium which has been reserved to professionals has always been the best medium for storytelling. No, not picture books. The best medium for storytelling, the one that is most accessible is filmmaking. The person who consumes your story is truly consuming it as you meant them to. The art of filmmaking comes with the ability to allow your viewers to wear the shoes of someone else. The viewer can be convinced in many ways through the psychology of how you tell your story. There is a visual which reflects real life as moving pictures and the sound that enhances it. Whether your story is fiction, a true story, a documentary or simply a promotional story about your business, you now have the power to share a story through your smartphone's camera. If you have any doubts we will show you how. For all those who have ever dreamed of making movies there is an industry which is emerging right now called mobile filmmaking. It was inspired through the creativity of those who did not have a budget for a camera. It was given power through the internet in distribution as online videos. Now, it is being inspired by film festivals like ours who are showcasing films shot with only mobile phones on the big screen. Ours is one of the first and it's considered one of the most prestigious of all mobile film festivals in the world. We not only put the film on the big screen but we treat filmmakers like stars who are deserving of the star treatment, the red carpet and an award ceremony. Rightfully so! Good films are about sharing good stories. Do you have a good story to share? We hope you are inspired by going to our website and watching a film or two or more. From our website's front page you can watch one film and then go to our YouTube page to watch some more films. But let us share with you what our film festival is about. Watch this video about MFF2016 in San Diego which took place April 30 & May 1 and was our 5th Year Anniversary. Be inspired. Get in touch with us. Let's share your story next and let's connect you to the world!http://bit.ly/MFF2016Video ...read more
