I was traveling to San Diego on a business trip and had my luggage damaged by Delta Airlines so I brought it into San Diego Luggage they fixed my suitcase in less than 24 hours as promised. They were so knowledgeable and were the only one that was able to do the repair in less than 1 week. What a pleasure to deal with a professional company. ...read more

** PLEASE READ THIS WARNING BEFORE PURCHASING FROM THIS COMPANY **\t\n\t\nAfter walking into this store searching for a certain Zuca bag, I was heavily pressured into ordering this bag with the absolute guarantee it would arrive no later than 1 week later. So I purchased another $200 bag for my iPad and decide to wait for the Zuca bag to come in. I had a flight coming up so I had to have this bag within 2 weeks max. A week came and went with nothing but promises from this company and no bag. Each phone call I made attempting to figure out the arrival date of the bag, was given a very fast-talking "pitch" from the manager. After being in sales and marketing for years, I immediately interpreted this as a desperate person with a lot to lose. I HAD NO IDEA HOW CORRECT I WAS... this wasn't the worse part, not by a long-shot:\t\n\t\nFast forward nearly a week later, I had decided not to keep the iPad, so i needed to return the bag. This was within the 14 day return policy. I also decided to cancel my bag order and get my money back. Simple return right? Not here. No way. Be prepared for heavy pressure, amateur interrogation techniques and humiliation. The minute I came in to return the bag, the other "sales people" became silent... as if they knew what was coming. My friend who came with me saw sympathy in their eyes. Now I know why. This manager started to question the reasoning behind the return, which was fine.. I calmly described the situation and he suggested other possible uses for the bag. He looked intense... leaning forward across the counter, head low, constant eye-contact and a condescending tone.. like he just read a book on "closing" techniques and I was simply not intelligent or quick enough to hold up. After another 5 minutes, he changed techniques... "why not apply this total to your outstanding order? It would be paid off?" I hesitated because I know what was coming, but informed him that I couldn't wait any longer for this order. This is where he got really desperate. He said a tag is missing from the bag.. and even if I had the receipt and everything else, a tag was missing and this was no longer in new condition. I stammered for a minute in shock that this was really happening. It was the price tag from the store! I told him just to put a new one on or get another one from the manufacturer. I said I might have it, or that I'm not sure if I have it or that I may have not seen it in the first place... this is when he found his foothold to apply his expert sales/interrogation techniques on me: "Which is it? You have three different stories, which one should I believe? Why aren't you telling me the truth?".... dude... really?\t\n\t\nAt this point my friend came in after waiting nearly 15 minutes only to come in to my interrogation in progress. After my friend pointed out that it was a simple return, and that he can get a new tag from the company, the manager said, YES this is true. An argument ensued when it was clear what was happening: He couldn't return my money. The staff looked on with the same sympathetic look, they knew what I was just discovering: This is not a financially healthy store. Each and every sale makes or breaks this company. I was witnessing a company that was going out of business. It seemed like the only explanation. The manager told us to leave the store and I did. I couldn't return the bag.\t\n\t\nPlease don't purchase anything from here that you may want to return. You're not dealing with a scrupulous or financially healthy company. These people are desperate and are willing to do anything to take and keep your money.\t\n ...read more
