When we attempted to turn on our water it was a Friday and the prior tenant had an outstanding balance so they refused to turn the water on for us. We went for one week without water due to them not being able to get a hold of the prior tenant.\t\nThey don't have online bill pay and you can't call and pay, you must snail mail or drop the payment off. \t\nNow I'm attempting to shut off my service on a Friday and they are saying the only my husband can do this. I asked the person at Alco to wait so I could pass the phone to him and she hung up.
